I recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to spend a few days in Milan. The location is quite OK - few minutes walk from the metro and also supermarket, restaurants, etc nearby, while the hotel itself is in a little quiet street.
We had the ground-floor room next to the reception/kitchen facing to the street, it is indeed a bit noisy as previously mentioned. There were also lots of noises coming from the room above (the walls are very thin but this seems to be general in Italy) so if you're a bad sleeper I suggest to ask for one of the upper rooms.
Otherwise we were very satisfied with the service and also the room was well-equipped and very clean. Excellent coffee :)

I stayed at Hotel Amendola Fiera for a conference at MiCo. It is in a quiet, picturesque street, about 15 mins walk from MiCo and 5 mins walk from Amendola Metro station.

Rooms and en suite bathroom were simple but clean, service was very friendly, and free WiFi was provided. Do bear in mind this is a small budget hotel - there are only 11 rooms, no minibar or room service, and the air conditioning was switched off at night. Breakfast is in the small lobby. As long as you are looking for a fairly-priced rather than a luxury option, you should be very happy!

Pros: good price, convenient location, free WiFi internet in rooms, clean room & en suite bathroom, friendly service, continental breakfast provided

Cons: decor and furniture quite basic, air conditioning switched off overnight

There is one of the best place to sleep close to metro station (Amendola) it takes 5 minutes walking and 10 minutes to get duomo. The personal treatment is perfect and excellent.
The breakfast is different with jam's croissant.
I hope go back after next year.

In this small hotel, you'll be received by a great host that will make you feel home.
The rooms were fine and the towels changed every day.
The hotel is a 5mn walking from AMENDOLA metro station, mid way from the center and from the Rho Fiera.

Thank you so much for your warm welcome.

Spent one week here and loved every minute of it. Amendola Fiera is located right close to metro station (4 minutes walking), a close by big supermarket, restaurants, and 10 minutes walking to MiCo.

The staff, especially Mustafa, are top notch. Alongside Tonia with her excellent assistance
Team can you help you big time as when where how to do anything in city, you really provided a VIP stay!!!
The room and hotel have great ambiance with a nice mix of old and new. I had a room on the 1st floor, decent space, the bathroom was clean and well maintained, The bed was comfortable, nice and i had a good sleep throughout my stay. Didn't get any noise through the walls thus had slept great.
Italian cappuccino was special at all times, breakfast is fine, not a huge variety however still excellent for a single star hotel
There was a TV, but never used it, clean towels changed daily, and clean sheets
It was an exceptional service, i feel it deserves a 3.5 * and not a single, I look forward to staying there again.

We thought we would be staying in a hostel, but it is more of a small hotel.
We had a private double room booked and it was clean and great, also it was the biggest room we had whilst in Italy – the only extra I would have liked in the room would be a safe.
The staff were brilliant and so nice and helpful, and although Luigi was working one night and speaks no English- we communicated well and he helped us to cool down our wine !
The hotel was very accomodating, clean and basic, but it was perfect to get your head down for the night especially when you are out all day in Milan. It is about 5 stops from the Duomo and a 5 minute walk from the station – with a supermarket along the way!
My only issue is that we stayed here in August so as the area was local it was on shut down for holidays, it would have been nice to have the bars around open – still we just headed into the city which took 10 minutes on the metro and is 4.50euros for a 24 hour pass.
We stayed on the bottom floor, next to the foyer and we did not hear any noise from the room, the breakfast is very basic, but at least they do some. They let us use the computer to check in and I cant express how friendly the staff were.

This place is brilliant for the price, you pay for what you get (we paid £70 for 2 nights) – if you want a romantic get away then don’t stay here, if you need a base to explore Milan and want to meet people in a hotel, have some fun and save money on accomodation which is clean and convinient then this is the place to be – Just don’t go in thinking it’s the Ritz.

The hotel is on a quiet street but it's a few blocks from the metro station and there is not a lot nearby.

the room we got was up the stairs. It took a long while for the aircon to cool the room. and in the middle of the night it switched it self off. The room had a fan but it was very noisy. So we did not have a good night sleep here.

The breakfast is simple and basic.
