We have eaten and drunk here several times and cannot recommend it more highly.
They have a huge selection of wine, local and European and always have several changing daily recommendations which staff always happy to talk you through. Drinks are always served with small antipasti.
To accompany the wine their menu is primarily antipasti, with a couple of daily dishes and it is some of the best we have ever had. They proudly display signs saying ‘no pizza, pasta or panini!’
They have a selection of antipasti boards which are all based around Italian products which are really high quality and delicious and the staff are so helpful in ‘mixing and matching’ for you.
All the items that you may eat or drink can be bought from their deli counter inside.
Tables are either out the front under pergola or inside - it gets very busy with a mix of locals and visitors and you can reserve tables.
It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and we have happily spent 3 - 4 hours there drinking, eating and taking in the busy square outside.
Some people comment on briskness of staff but in all the time we have been we have never found that at all- just try and engage and they will respond likewise!
Cannot recommend more highly and looking forward to our next visit.
