I chose this restaurant because it is registered with the Italian Coeliac Association as providing dishes suitable for coeliacs, and because of its emphasis on fish - which my wife adores. Her oysters were too cold to have any taste, and had no "second water" to speak of. She found 12 bones in her fish fillet, and I found 4. The waiter showed no interest in our discovery.

2 starters, 3 main courses, water, one bottle of wine, one coffee: €155

When you want to eat fast, choose for al Grassi. They almost take your plate before you even finished your meal. To do so they stand behind your back waiting at the right moment.
Inbetween the consecutive courses there wasn't anytime at all.

The patron was rude and mostly buzzy gaiming open to the guests.

The fish itself was good, the desert a real disaster: cheap, ugly and disgusting.

In short: "al Grassi, an easy way to throw away 140 euros ( 3 persons) in an hour and a half"

This little restaurant, rather out of the way but not so far from the city center, has gained the reputation of the best place for top class raw fish in Torino. However, this is has nothing to do with a sushi bar! Here very many different seafoods, fish and shellfish, are prepared right at the table, freshly sliced and and seasoned with a selection of different top-quality olive oils. The list is very long, usually more than 10 different dishes can be prepared. The real raw fish fanatic would probably like to taste them all. Of course, there is as well a menu of cooked seafood dishes, pasta and main courses, for those who are unfortunately not accustomed to the pleasure of the crude ... The overall quality is considerable. The wine list is rich especially in the whites, with all the best italian labels presented. The service is careful, the ambience is simple but pleasant. Considering the quality and the wide choice of fresh ingredients, this could not be a cheap restaurant. In fact, the bill is rather high, maybe very high if you indulge on very many different raw fish dishes. Worth trying, anyway.

If you like raw fish you have to try this place. There are a lot of variety: shrimps, octopus, baby squid and many many more (I don't know the english names), all in combination with differents italian olive oil from top selectioned productions. Each plate costs € 8 and it depends on your money when stop yourself, certainly not from your stomach because probably you'll want to eat them all! The 50th place is surely an "injustice" but probably you have to know the place to come because it's no very touristic.

Probably the best seafood restaurant in Turin. An absolute must are the fish carpacci (don't miss the prawns and the scallops). Great oysters and other coquillage. Fabulous seafood "primi piatti". On the expensive side though: about 80 euros per person for a meal including 3-4 carpacci.
