The hotel is reasonably situated and very handy for the main train station.

It's a substantial building with a grand entrance and quite large rooms.

Staff are friendly & helpful enough.

We had dinner which was ok but more 'pub grub' than 4 star hotel.

For such a grand hotel they lack some finishing touches; only one power socket (I had to remove the the lamp), no safe, limited mini bar and no kettle/tea (it's a Brit thing, we need tea).

The air con is good; effective and quiet.

All fine if staying for a night or two I suppose.

Note; We were in a large group of tourists and this may have had something to do with the meal quality.

We stayed for one night as part of the Great Railway Journey tour - thank God it was just one night! The room was awful and when I pulled back the curtain we had a frosted glass window! Felt like a prison cell! Later discovered that many of our party did too. Food was average, tried to get a brandy from the bar as I had a cold but was told it was closed - it was 10 p. m. One slow coffee machine at breakfast to serve lots of people.........hopeless! Can't believe the company use this soulless place and they will be getting a letter!.

Hotel is conveniently located and has a parking garage nearby. Rooms are clean and of a good size. Furniture is simple but practical with a nice desk to work on. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice a with good variety. Free WiFi is Swisscom and it has limited speed and size of daily size of downloads, if you need good connection be prepared to spend another 10 Euro per day!

Hotel was average, bed was very hard, room dated. Staff were helpful and friendly enough. Good position, a 10 minute walk away from the city centre. Right next to the Metro stop and good bus links. Next to a corner cafe offering 6.50 E happy hour after 6 p.m for glass of wine and 3 choices of food. Breakfast room in hotel is not big enough and was always busy, food OK

This hotel hasn't been renovated since probably 1978. Decent location, relatively friendly service, but the rooms are just a nightmare. Breakfast is ok, although only one slow coffee machine for everybody, so often queues in the morning.

I must say the public transport for Turin (I can say for the whole Italy) is not so good. NH Ambasciatori is directly in front of the metro stop so it is realy good but this metro stop does not have the connection with the touristic places. So you must choose this hotel for a business trip. For the business trip it is perfect! It is clean, modern, has a good breakfast buffet (only the glutenfree section must be upgraded, they have glutenfree biscuit but no bread for breakfast). And all the businessmen staying at the hotel used the taxi (the firm is paying of course) while we were walking at the darkness from some far away bus stop. And the hotel is at a quite part of Turin for night walking, We got scared a little bit. so choose a hotel near the attractions, if possible near the river.
For the families: the room is not so big, they placed the child bed next to our bed on my side and there was no room for me to move, I had to jump over the beds.
But it is a good hotel.

I spent only one night for business purpose in this hotel. Overall, a quite poor experience. The room is not very comfortable for a hotel priced at that level. Air heating was not really effective. I had to use 2 blankets. Breakfast room only opens at 7:00AM, late for business trips. Themost uncomfortable thing was the variation of water temperature when taking my shower. When you think you have found the right temperature, it just varies on itself either getting cold or extremely hot. My colleagues in other roms experienced the same issues. Rather noisy with not a proper sound isolation. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.
