Good service - the aperol/spritz was just what we needed on a hot late afternoon. Lovely shady corner on the piazza

located in a somewhat artist area... an eclectic mix of people ranging from early twenties to mid-to-late sixties. We came for appertivos; at this location the waiter brings them out. A mix of cheese, meats, olives and flat bread pizza. The staff is very friendly, speaks English and the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching.

Pastis is in a charming square near the central market.....a perfect place to stop for lunch or an apero in the evening or supper. The chef is Sicilian, so lots of sardines and sultanas and grilled octopus. Nice easy going, cool atmosphere. Fine place for an evening drink...and wifi that works.
The staff are charming and engaging...a great place to hang out any time of the day.

I spend time here every time I can. A morning bar turning into a fantastic Sicilian restaurant at lunch, then bar again during the day waiting for the "aperitivo" and then Sicilian dinner and bar overnight. You sit down, enjoy the Wi-Fi and order a drink or a dish and let the good time roll.
Fish and meat come from the two best-quality supplier of the local "Porta Palazzo" market. Local and Sicilian wines, good cocktails and, when it comes to food, the superb Sicilian oil.
From Spring to Fall the dehor is the best in town, almost a magical place for a perfect outside dinner (for you guys coming from the US I'd say "al fresco" but in Italian slang that means "in jail"..:-)
