Excellent location, friendly staff and a cool relaxing room. Great value and also a good value breakfast! Turin is not massive so everything is relatively close by. The film museum is a must.
Turn left out of the main entrance and within two minutes is a cafe that looks a little uninspiring called 'Brek'. Actually does very good value salad type lunches (+ glass of wine) and has an inner courtyard.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are large, airy (air con) and very clean

Was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a hotel, central turin so easy walk to most locations. Rooms basic but acceptable, as daft as it sounds felt like I was in Italy and not just another hotel.
Loads of cafés to have food and drinks.
Car park underground

Hotel Roma e Rocca is perfectly located for a visit to the beautiful town of Turin. In the historical centre, it allows access on foot to all monuments and to the shopping area of via Roma, with many restaurants, bars, gelatarias and coffee-shops nearby. It has a certain "old style" to it that is very appealing. We had a spacious room with a recently refurbished bathroom, and the breakfast was excellent (on a lovely small terrace that gave that special Italian holiday touch). The hotel offers (against payment) a secure parking area for visitors with cars.

Room Tip: A room at the back will be quieter -- the hotel is on a rather busy square.

This is only a 3-star hotel, but it beats many 4-star competitors. We had a spacious room, with a good-sized bathroom and a small balcony facing Piazza Carlo Felice. Make sure you get na room on this side, for the view. There is an old-fashioned feeling about it, helped by the antique furniture, both in the common areas and in the rooms.
The position couldn't be better: just across Corso Vittorio Emanuele from la Porta Nuova railway station, 5 minutes' walk to the airport bus, an information booth a hundred metres away, and close to Via Roma which leads up to the very centre.
If and when we return to Turin this will no doubt be where we'll be staying!

Its almost a year now when I visited this place. Perfect location, just opposite to Porta Nuova Train Station and walking distance to City Center. The rooms are pretty spacious, big size toilets, properly cleaned, surrounded by plenty of Pizzaria shops and restaurents. Ambience inside perfect and cool and calm staff. What else is needed. Its perfect for spending time in the Turin.

The hotel does not boast. It says that it is 3 star. But in many ways that is a bit modest for a well sized room, comfortable bed, more than adequate bathroom and, if in the right room, a good view.

If your aim is to enjoy the historical centre of Turin then this hotel is all that you need and more. It is centrally located, the public transport connections could not be better, there is a car park and a public car park if you drive.

Above all, it is excellent value for a truly city centre hotel and very friendly. It may be a bit past its prime but that has an attraction of its own.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return the next time we drive over to Turin from France.

we spent 1 night in this Hotel and I appreciated the following: even though it is a 3 stars, the room was perfectly refined and clean as a 4stars and ours was extremely silent. the consierge and all the staff were very friendly and open to meet our needs, including the last minute request of a late check-out, even though they were fully booked The entrance is pretty basic and poor, which doesn't help at a first sight and the wifi connection didn't work, but everything else was perfectly fine, including the central position, from where you can reach walking all the most important museums and palaces+shopping center. Prices are a bit higher than a 3 stars, but acceptable for what you get.
