“Fabulous armoury”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2013

Huge array of militaria from BC up to the 20th century with many impressive full suits of armour. Amazing workmanship on the old firearms, swords, etc., too. Part of the well worthwhile tour of the Royal Palace. Like all of Turin, not too crowded!

“Small, but cutest and charmy army museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

Not very known evenby Turin people, this museum is a real pearl. recently restored inside, you will see very nice armors and weapons of the last 6 centuries, perfectly maintained and lovely positioned in a fantastic hall, with 1700 paintings and frescoes. I have visited several army museum (Graz, Paris, etc) but this one is really unique. Consider 1-1.5 hours for the visit. Also inexpensive..

“Swords and armours”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2013

Very interesting collection of thousands of different kinds of swords, sables, etc. used in Italy. Museum also includes early guns and rifles. The ticket to the Royal Palace allows you to also enter the Royal Armory and the Galleria Sabaud (galleria just OK). 10euros for entrance to all 3. Free if you are 65 years old or older.

“Handsome armor well arranged in a long hall”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2013

Horses adorned with plumage and steel are matched with armored suits. The cases down the vast hall abound with ornate weapons of all periods and types. The accoutrements of war look artistic and beautiful.
