The hotel is located about 5 mins away from centre. The hotel is very clean and breakfast was great. The pool was really nice and warm or better... warm as a bath. Good Wifi from hotel room, lobby and restaurant.

Stayed here on a skiing holiday with another family and had a great time. The staff work really hard to make you happy. The pool is small but lovely and warm and ideal after a days skiing. The breakfast is abundant but only cold food but very good quality. About 5 minute or less drive to bubble car for Pila. Less than 10 minute walk to historic old town. Overall, a very comfortable hotel. If I had one criticism it would be that the rooms are too hot and you cannot regulate the temperature except by opening the window!

Perhaps this is more a sad reflection of my navigational shortcomings, but I came out of the station at the wrong exit (you need to go to the exit on the left from memeory but be sure to google map it...) and so it was a nightmare to find. If you go the right exit it is just a straight line but took absolutely ages to get to and the hotel is not near any restaurants or shops unless you have a car handy or like long walks.

The hotel is more like 3 star and very uninspiring. Their big slobbering dogs hog the entrance so that I actually had to skirt around them even with my big heavy suitcase. The breakfast was HIDEOUS!!! Hardly any selection and coffee from a machine. Shocking. I also had arrived famished and had to order a sandwich, it cost me a ton and was horrific! Even though I was famished I couldn't eat it!!! It was: white bread with ketchup, mayonnaise and some tomato and lettuce. Disgusting and plain.

The room was clean and bed comfortable, the bathroom and shower very nice. This is a very functional hotel and the staff were very helpful but I would not come here again.

We recently spent 6 days in Aosta and had an amazing vacation. We had a lovely room with a patio overlooking the Alps. We were traveling with a group and our room ended up being the Happy Hour location because of our fantastic view. I've seen comments/complaints about the two dogs -- they were friendly and I thought added charm and a feeling of home to the lobby. Our package included breakfast and dinner. The meals were very good --- especially breakfast. The wait staff was always helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located to the center of the city and we enjoyed our walks there. We have a great experience here - and love Aosta and the surrounding valley.

I passed the Christmas week in this hotel with my wife and 2 kids and must admit that I am very very satisfied. Here are my comments
Location - small walk from Aosta center (around 5 minutes with kids). Very near the train station as well. Taxi will cost around 5 euros.
Room - the room was very, very clean. Since we come from a relatively hotter country, it took us some time to find the right temperature setting for the night.
Reception - very willing to help in everything, extremely nice, especially Signior Carlo; very nice person indeed
Food - Breakfast is abundant and good. We stayed there for the Christmas lunch which was excellent, very good food and wine.
Pool and Gym- When I read the reviews before visiting the hotel I got the impression that the pool was too cold for winter. This is really not the case - the water is ok, sometimes even too warm. Gym is ok for a hotel, plenty of machines and some free weights. There is also a golf training area... children loved it
Children etc- Aosta is really cold in December, so we were in relatively early. There is a large children's room with games and kids DVDs etc. Our kids enjoyed it a lot; they spent hours playing with other children and never wanted to go to sleep. Very good relaxation area where you can just chill out.
So, overall if I would go to Aosta again, I would choose this hotel. People are very helpful, it is very clean and most importantly child friendly.
