We've been going to the Hotel Perruquet for years, as have a number of our friends, and we have never had a bad experience.
The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating, and there is free wifi. It is wonderfully clean and there is a bar downstairs that serves great hot chocolate and a yummy prosecco. It's a stones throw from the ski slops which is wonderful for those of us who don't like carrying their skis long distances. We have had several great experiences and I would recommend this quaint, beautiful hotel to any one of my friends and family.

This is a traditional ski-alps bed and breakfast built in 1953. The hotel is owned by a brother and sister who were born in the village. It is the sort of friendly place people return to year after year. Indeed several of the guests we met had been going there for many years.

The Good:
- close to the slopes and ski rental. It is not ski-in and ski-out but it is so close as to make that unimportant.
- 250m from the bus stop. When you hop off the bus face the church (it has a clock tower) and take the main road to the left up the hill. The hotel is on the right.
- clean rooms of a reasonable size (not large but considering that we are talking about a ski lodge in Europe then it was just fine).
- friendly and helpful staff.
- internet good enough to stream video. The hotel runs a ticket system. Make sure you get a ticket for the length of your stay rather than getting a ticket each day. Each device will need it's own ticket.
- friendly guests and a great post-slope atmosphere.

Other things:
- it is quite expensive and other places were cheaper.
- the drying room is inadequate. Simply not big enough and the heaters are not on long enough to dry the ski gear. We chose to leave the boots etc at the hire place.
- the rooms had a serious lack or lighting. It really was hard to see anything!

We have been staying here fo several times and will be returning in 2014. 'Yes', we know there is no elevator to get to our room on the second floor. Do we care: 'no'. We need to stay in shape anyway. What we care about is the very friendly service that is Always deliverd by the owners and their staff. You can ask them anything. The friendly service has turned in service friends. What else do you need? If you are a luxury beast, do not go there. If you like a good atmosphere, give it a try. Don't forget to ask for your personally boiled egg in the morning. Each day cooked to perfection! A yeah, i almost forgot. We always stay there in the winter for skiing. It is only a 3 minute walk to the start of the slopes of one of the most fantastic ski-arena's i have been to.

Just returned from another short break at The Perruquest - a delight as always . I have lost count of how many times we have stayed here . The hotel is perfectly located less 100 metres from the nearest lift , right on the pedestrian main street close to a variety of bars and restaurants . The rooms are spacious , comfortable and clean. The thing that sets this place apart from all other ski hotels I have stayed in across the Europe is the wonderful , warm and friendly owners Silvana and Franco , and the ever lovely Giulia . They have become very good friends over the years and they simply cannot do enough to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible . I cannot recommend the Perruquet highly enough . Check out the new website !!! J&J

Silvana and Franco's hotel is located around 100m from the start of the main slopes in Cervinia which makes it hard to beat. The rooms are very comfortable and perfect for recovery from a hard day's skiing on those lovely runs below Monte Cervino. Across the road are several good bars and restaurants so you are very close to all that's needed. All of this makes the location an excellent place to rest your head. The service adds plenty more with a warm, welcoming and friendly staff, good grub and excellent facilities for storing your ski kit safely and warming your boots ready for the next day. If that wasn't good enough, the rates were all very goodI've been there twice now with different friends and would go back again and again whenerver I get the chance to go to Cervinia.

Stayed here in March 2012. The location of the hotel is great, maybe about 100 meters from the closest lift and right on the main street. So skiing and restaurants were both very close by. Silvana and Franco and their whole staff were really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent and filling with a very good selection of bread, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt etc. Coffee was excellent also. There is a small bar at the hotel lobby with good bar snacks, espresso, beer, wine, etc.

Our room was a bit moist after shower and the walls were rather thin, so you could hear all the noise from corridors. We slept really well anyway, so noise wasn't really a problem. Otherwise our room was clean and spacious.

If/when we ever go back to Cervinia, we will definitely stay in Perruquet.

We returned here for the second time this February. It was another brilliant stay. Frauline is an amazing host at was lovely with us all, especially our younger member of the group jack, who celebrated his birthday out there was baked a lovely cake out of nowhere. Anyway, the resort was in a birthday location and put of our back door was the ski school meeting poor and the main chairlift. This made it perfect for us. The main street which the perruquet is set is gorgeous celebrated by bright lights and authentic cobbles, celebrated by a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. I would surest this resort to any skiers and and gay on trays like myself for a fab week, enjoy folks
