Hotel Europa Padova
Ranked #20 of 45 Hotels in Padua

My husband and I stayed here as we had not booked previously and it was getting late in the evening and needed a place in Padua. Stefano, the hotel Manager was so accommodating as the hotel was completely booked, but made arrangements for us to have an apartment owned by the hotel which was located in the square in the heart of Padua for a discounted rate. Stefano and the other desk staff were always very courteous and especially helpful with directions and information about exhibits to see, and always maintained a "customer first" attitude. Breakfast was delightful with lots of choices. Padua is a lovely city and the staff at Hotel Europa contribute to its enchantment.

Note: BEWARE OF FRONT ENTRANCE - DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH SMALL DRIVE OR PARK DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HOTEL AS CAMERAS WILL SNAP PHOTO AND ISSUE €100 TICKET. Unless you are going to use the paid parking for the hotel around the corner which the hotel must register your car reg with the traffic department to keep you from being fined. Luckily Stefano told us about this and we were very grateful.

Hotel Europa in Padova have a good middle Class Standard. There was a friendly Employee at eception and fast CheckIn. We spend 2 nights there and can say, that it is a clean and clam Place. The Location was good, due lost of Shops and Restaurants have been there not far away. Nice decorated Breakfast Buffet. Choices of hot Beverages have been good.

We stayed, with our dog, for two nights here in a warm October. Padova is really a glorious city to visit, full of vibrant life and an artistic heritage among the best of the smaller italian cities. Its squares are memorable for their beauty and activities ranging from markets to live artistic performers. All this is to say that staying in Padova is a pleasure. The hotel itself is friendly enough, clean, the rooms are simple and modestly appointed, the bathrooms of a decent size. Room service is moderately ok, failing to get the breakfast order right both times, but this is no big deal. It was fine. If you stay there you must ask for a renewed room at the back, off the main street, so you can sleep. Car parking is safe and nearby and about €15 per day.
Modest but at about €110 a night it is very good value for money.

We stayed the one night which we secured online for a discount rate the day of our stay. Proximity to the train station was a big consideration as was air conditioning. Hotel is quite nicely appointed for an upper 3 star in Italy. Breakfast included and okay. Staff were very helpful. Good to find that we were close to a lot of good dining off the piazza. Would recommend.

Nice location. Close to both the train station and the centre of Padua.
Breakfast is mediocre. There is a very nice bar around the corner

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and were pleased with the 10 minute walk with our cases. We stayed three nights over a week-end. It is located in a financial and business part of the city where expensive clothes shops and bars are also located. The hotel rooms are noisy due to thin walls and timber veneer floors e.g. we could hear snoring from an adjacent room, scraping of chairs on floors from rooms above, and music from the nearby trendy wine bar through double glazed windows. We gained the impression that the hotel focused more on business and bus tourists. For example, arriving for breakfast after bus tourists meant that breakfast choices were severely reduced. We would seek alternative accommodation if we were to return to Padova.

This hotel is okay, but if you're driving, get exact street directions before you attempt it. If you drive right up to their door, you pass the cameras that record your entry into the area only for residents to drive in! You can get a ticket! The manager told me right away, and then told me to back up and go to the left where the blue sign with an arrow points to a U-turn.
The wi-fi you have to pay for!! IT's not cheap either.
The breakfast is just OK, not great. Cereal. Coffee. Rolls and croissants. Sliced meat. Some fruit. Nothing special.

Room Tip: Top floor has motion lights and it is dark when you arrive there in the elevator. If that scares you...
