“Always busy”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Lots of eating and drinking establishments, which are particularly busy in the evenings - although not too late, due to local residents' complaints. Has a clothing market during the day, which rather spoils the layout. Overall, very historic and a good place to sit, eat, drink and watch the workings of the clock.

“Wonderful space that changes with the time of day”
Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

This is a beautiful piazza that has been put to use to make the most of it. In the morning the markets spread out over a number of piazzas including this one. Very good markets, too. In the middle of the day they are dismantled and it is a wonderful area to stroll and take in the beauty and the historic interest of the piazza with its imposing clock tower. By evening the space is filled with tables, complete with white table cloths and the numerous restaurants on the side of the piazza use this central space so that diners can enjoy alfresco dining at its best. We sat amongst the beauty of the piazza amongst the hum of cheerful diners to have dinner. Perfect experience on a warm summer evening.

“Its a wonderful square, full of life at any hour.”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Its the same place , but it offers so many different things depending on the time of the day. In the morning there are the markets , then when they shut up and move out the tables and chairs come out onto the square.People take apparetivos in the evening time while they eat crisps . The gypsy musicians sing songs badly then pass a hat around .
Its beautiful in the spring weather like now. The light is wonderful and the people interesting to observe. You don't need to go for any special occasion , just as long as you go. Lots of dogs passing by , old people comfortable in the surroundings greeting friends. Students all interestingly dressed sipping big orange drinks known here as Aperol Spritz.

“Great Piazza”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

A great place to sit outside in the square, and/or people-watch. Surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and gelatterias. We really liked walking and hang around Piazza delle Erbe.
