Description: The restaurant is located in the ancient Ghetto near Piazza delle Erbe. The dining room is not very big but very intimate and romantic. The dishes proposed from our Chef Mario together with Mattia and Constance are mainly of fish during the spring and summer season and mainly of meat during the winter season. If you like fish you have to try our tuna fish tartare served with a lime sorbet and crispy celery while you prefer meat you can start with our steak tartare with wild mushrooms. Ask to Mattia for a wine, he will give you the right advise combined to your choice.

The restaurant is quite expensive, and a little "fussy" for my liking. The food is good, but we found better value elsewhere. The setting and service is quite formal, and the dining room charming.

After Trying out various places in ten day stay in Padova I did not have high expectation any more .

Tourists would b excited when they come to italy for holiday and tend to say this is a country with best food. Though so much as I love this country I still have to say a provincial mentality has kept Italy well behind evolution of modern gastronomy .

But tonight I met n talked with Roberto the owner who provides not only good food and service but also sharing of his thoughts on dinning experience in Italy . The dinner for me was a treat for both taste and genuine human interaction and sharing .

I walked out with recioto n Sauternes sweet wine in my mouth and a lingering satisfaction of Italian amicizia sweeter than both !

Very interesting and inspiring combination of pure Italian ingredients into something new, fresh, and delicious. Delicate tastes, refined recipes, which is a wonderful surprise and break from pizzas and pastas! Beautiful surrounding. Congratulations to the chef!

The outdoor setting was lovely, on a stone-paved patio. The appetizer, ricotta with fresh basil and sprigs of oregano over a perfectly fried slice of eggplant topped with a tomato reduction was wonderful, followed by a creative timbale with eggplant, and the crispy cod entree. A delightful dinner, served with expertise.

We ate here twice during our four night stay in Padova as we enjoyed the first experience so much. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It is obvious that they take great pride in everything they do here from the food and service, right down to the table settings. Such a lovely place to eat. Great soundtracks too !. We will be eating here again on our return visit.
