Best Western Hotel Biri

The hotel is somewhat out of the centre. It's a 40 minute walk to the city centre and the neighbourhood isn't that okay. I wouldn't stroll there at night. However taxi's are reletively cheap in Padova and the hotel is good. Nice, well-kept rooms and rather spacey.Nice little balcony. Bonus is SKY-tv in your room, which allows you to view 500+ international TV channels. Breakfast is okay and the restaurant has good reviews from local businessman. This hotel is a good option for businesspeople and visitors who want to be near Venice. It's only 25 minutes with the train to Venice.

Dear Guest,
I would like to thank you for taking time to share with us your expericence at our hotel.
About the distance to the city center, a bus runs frequently from the hotel to it and the stop is just 100mt from us. I look forward to welcoming you in the future.
Sincerely Emanuele Lando

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before so i was little surprised that when I wanted to move my booking back a week as i could not get to Italy due to the Icelandic Volcano they refused and charged me for the two nights that I was not there for. If I had wanted a refund I could possible understand but I just wanted to move it back a week. I am totally disgusted and will never use this hotel or chain again.

We stayed here 4 nights and 5 days while touring the area. It was agood base for the area very handy for the Autostrada. We had a family room which was a great size and my daughter loved the toiletries. Breakfast was on the 7th floor and was a standard Italian breakfast. We used the free parking at the front of the hotel as the hotel will charge you 10 Euros a day to use their car park. The train station is a 15 walk or 5 min drive. There is a large supermarket/shopping centre just 5 mins walk from the hotel. the hotel staff were helpful. We would use this hotel again if in the area.

Good quality hotel in pleasant surroundings, within walking distance of central Padua. Room was large, with balcony – although the view wasn’t anything to write home about – and bathroom with all mod cons including hairdryer. 7th floor restaurant was fine, but I wouldn’t call the view from the terrace “spectacular”, it was just an ok view of the city. Porter was helpful on arrival and restaurant staff were fine. Unfortunately this hotel was let down by its reception staff. My husband was treated to a shrug of the shoulders that didn’t just say, “I don’t know” but managed to convey “and I don’t care!” They weren’t exactly discourteous - the only word I can come up with is “disinterested”. It was a great shame, as the hotel itself is fine and I would happily stay there again – just wish they’d get their front office staff enlivened a little.

We spent 4 nights after booking through Best Western website. GPS not helpful in locating hotel, convenient to Venice by train. Can walk to station-20 minutes. Bus stop on corner. Walk to town center, university and cathedral. Nice breakfast buffet (included) with great view from roof top restaurant. Front desk staff very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Nice bathroom. Free parking. We would definitely stay here again. They also offer long term apts.

We were very fortunate to be able to secure a full apartment walking into the hotel at 9 p.m. We had rented a home in Padua but unfortunately there was an issue with the wood furnace and the home become uninhabitable. For 148 Euros we received an apartment with two large bedrooms each with two twin beds, a third bedroom with a twin bed and two full bathrooms complete with heated towel bars and nice amenities. There were two locked doors we could not access; I believe the hotel literature states there is a kitchen and laundry facility available for longer stays. The only slight negative is there is a freight elevator behind one of the doors and you could hear it at times during the night. It is normally very hard to find large accommodations in Europe so this was a shock for us to find. If I had known from best westerns website that this apartment was available I would have not rented the house. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable, the breakfast selection was very nice and it is served in
the rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. Free parking is also available in the back of the building.

Biri Best Western has not only rooms but also appartements (Biri Residences). Perfect for a longer stay.

We had a studio with bedroom (free AC), spacious livingroom with kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. Everything was clean (cleaning service twice a week included). The furnishing is rather simple but functional. The kitchenette is equipped with the most important things - enough for preparing lunch or a simple dinner.

A washing machine can be used (11 Euro washing and tumble-drying). There is free wireless Internet in the lobby and bar (with own computer). Safe car-parking is also free.

There are quite a few busstops very near the Biri - so it is no problem to get to the city center or the main station of Padua. Also a shopping center is quite close (7 minutes on foot).

The staff is very helpful and fluent in English. So the stay there was really good value for money.

The only drawback: the hotel is situated on a big rotary/roundabout where four busy roads meet. So it it rather loud with the windows open or sitting on the balcony (but no problem with the windows closed!).
