“Nice location and cute room, but poor service and lots of noise”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

The hotel itself is quite nice, and well deserves its "Art Hotel" name. There are works of art in the rooms and in the corridors.
It's very close to Sant'Antonio, and a nice walk to the Palazzo and other attractions.
The rooms are clean and cosy, with room service every day. Unfortunately, you can hear the staff and the other guests talk and walk in the corridors as clearly as if they were in your room.
Don't expect personalized service - I didn't even get a smile.

They have red, blue, white and orange rooms. Each room is decorate with a specific color. We asked to see what a white room and a blue room looked like. So the artist/owner of the hotel showed us one of each and we picked white. That was cool. Great location. Some folks with us were uncomfortable with the strong presence of the owners abstract art. We had a good time there.

I never got tired of looking at the whimsical, 3 dimensional artwork throughout the hotel. The artwork looked a little dusty, which made me anxious at first, but the room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was good and the location was great, about a mile from one end of the historic district to the other, easily accessible by tram if you're not up to walking a mile. The adjoining restaurant next door was wonderful.I would certainly stay here again!

Unique decor, great location, friendly staff. Three important features for lodging choices. Each room provides a different theme and adds to the fun of actually 'being in Padua'. Close to the bus/tram so convenient access. Close to St Anthony's, Prato Della Valle and easy walking to many other wonderful sites, including the not to be missed Scrovegni Chapel.
Desk staff were very helpful and I loved looking out my room window and imagining what it may have been like to be a local

Room Tip: No pool, nor is one needed, as there is plenty of exercise with the great walking

Close to san Antonio but a bit of a walk to the rest of the action. Good size rooms, well kept and a reasonable rate. If your a modern art lover your going to love this. The elevator has been plastered, so anybody can add their own graffiti! parking available

We stayed just for one night on our way from Switzerland to Venice. Although we had a bit of difficulty finding the street, the staff could not have been more helpful and ran out into the street to guide us to the hotel and into its private parking area. The location is perfect and very central and the rooms are very individually decorated. Breakfast was an extra but perfectly adequate with delicious unlimited coffee and hot croissants. We will definitely stay here on our next trip in the area.

My main complaint about this conveniently located, family-run hotel is the room. I can live with "worn" if the price is right; but the bedding covers, throw pillows and the stuffed chair looked soiled (I would not sit on the chair). The bathroom was clean, as was the rest of the room. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was fine. The highly-touted (by the owner) art was not to my taste - it is billed as "sexy", but I would just call it "bad".
