This hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes from the center of Padua. The location isn't exactly gorgeous, but seems quite safe and it's really no big deal given how quickly you can walk to the truly scenic parts of Padua.
The hotel itself is welcoming with modern furnishings. We stayed in a 'single' room with a true double bed because we were traveling with our 7-month-old son and didn't want to worry about him falling between two beds pushed together when he came into bed with us. The only annoying thing was that there was only one water glass and they wouldn't give us another when we asked... not sure if that was a communication glitch, as there were enough towels to go around. It was a compact room, but was fine for our needs. Our room faced the train tracks, and although we could hear the trains, they were certainly well muffled by the double-glazed windows and not a bother.
Breakfast was continental and lovely, with fruit as well as fresh mozzarella and tomatoes.
All in all, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Padua, and would happily stay here again should we return.More
