We checked on 9 April & the receptionist Erica was extremely helpful. She initially could not find our booking as we changed our dates but she went out of her way to accommodate us despot being fully booked.
She also helped explained directions to where we were going especially with respect to train directions.
However our room had a lousy standing shower design & water would splatter out onto the floors making them slippery whenever one had a shower. This makes it dangerous & design should be re-looked at.

Pauline

Although this hotel was nothing special, especially the restaurtant, bar, breakfast and location, it was perfect for jumping on the motorway to get to Venice, only 25 mins by car.

I would probably stay again if only for this reason. Places to eat were almost non existent but as we refused to pay the hotel prices and as the menu was very limited we found a lovely pub which served perfectly acceptable Italian food.

This hotel is located on a difficult to navigate road in an industrial area. Assuming you can get there, you'll most likely wish you had not found it. The interior of the lobby is modern and clean and the rooms give that impression at first glance. Looking a bit closer reveals a foam mattress covered in tears, cheap furniture, non functioning bathtub, and very thin bed sheets in lieu of the typical Marriott duvet. Then there's an extra 13€ charge for two people staying in a room that covers absolutely nothing extra, not even the use of more than one device per room on their painfully slow WiFi. We also had a restroom on our floor that was filled with trash and cleaning supplies.

Our objective in staying here was to try something a bit away from Venice this time - stay somewhere we had not been. We wanted to navigate the local bus, and get more into the local scene. This hotel did it for us just right. We were able to see downtown Padua experiencing the squares, museums and restaurants. It was convenient to get into Venice as well as the airport.

The hotel was sleek and modern with friendly, helpful staff. We don't eat in hotels much preferring local food so can not say about the meals here.

Room Tip: The hotel is NOT in the center of the city, nor in a beautiful location. It is located on the bus ro...

A nice business hotel that is only a short 20 mile drive from Venice and it's extremely expensive prices. Nothing spectacular about the hotel, but it has a wonderful restaurant where the chef is highly accommodating to pleasing your taste preferences! You don't find that in most hotels, but this is Italy!

Great breakfast, but pricey. Hard to find, Siri on your iPhone doesn't speak Italian so good luck finding it, especially in the dark of the evening!

TIP: A.C. is pronounced "Ah Chee" in Italian, so this will help if asking for directions.

Unbelievable in 2013 that you can't even get a sandwich in a worldwide hotel chain before the restaurant opens for dinner. Also, the daily wifi fee is excessive and the signal is poor.

Nice rooms, friendly staff and good food once the restaurant actually opens are the positives.

Poor location if you want to go downtown. I won't be staying there again.

We just returned from a trip to the Veneto area of Italy and stayed in Padova for 5 nights. The AC Hotel Padova was the perfect location for having convenient access to the major highways to visit Verona, Vicenza, Treviso, Bassano del Grappa, Asola, as well as Padova. Although you're not in the historic center of a town (more of an industrial area) we found it easy enough to get where we needed by rental car. Since we had planned to travel to the surrounding towns I mentioned, it wasn't important to us to have the atmosphere of the historic center since we would be spending so little time there. Nearby is a large supermarket where we picked up some food items for the hotel room. The staff indicated it was walking distance, which it was, but if you are carrying a significant amount of purchases, you probably will want to drive. There is a small refrigerator in the room in which we kept some food and beverages. The hotel was very sleek and modern. Our room was ready when we arrived at noon. It was comfortable, quiet and very clean. There was a modest fitness center that we used several times. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Our room was on the first floor, a few doors down from the fitness center.
