Great hospitality and good rooms. Really you need to have GPS navigation to find it. Unfortunately for us, the restaurant was closed for August, but we went to a wonderful place in Casier which was open called "Alla Pasina" (you really need GPS to fidn that place!)

Do note that many shops & restaurants in Treviso were closed for vacations in August-2013 (it seemed to be 70% closed)..

My husband and I stayed two nights at Il Cascinale and we loved it.

Alessandra and her husband are very welcoming hosts. They provided us with immaculate and comfortable accommodation and an outstanding breakfast. The property has been in the family for some time, and the hosts obviously take great pride in their home and their work.

The agriturismo is just outside of Treviso, which worked very well for us. If you like to be a bit "away from the action," then you will appreciate this location.

Alessandra gave us two good suggestions for dinner, and we took her up on each of them. The first, Alter Ego, was where we ate our first dinner in Italy. We highly recommend this casual restaurant, as well as the second restaurant: Ponte Ottavi. Delicious!

You can get to Venice by train from Treviso in just 30 minutes. Although we had rented a car for our trip, we appreciated not having to drive to Venice.

We choose this agriturismo based on the reviews on trips advisor and were very disappointed. It certainly did not live up to the expectations. It was very old fashioned, 70s style. The air condition was old and made such a noise that is was almost impossible to sleep. The beds were not good either. All in all not a place we will return to.

You'd never guess it was next to an airport. This place is relaxing like you wouldn't believe. Clean, spacious rooms at affordable prices, within cycling distance of Treviso and a number of nice restaurants (I recommend Alter Ego). They also give you a bike to ride at no extra charge. The local countryside is beautiful, and this place is right in the middle of it. Also the owner / host can't do enough for her guests. I didn't eat there, but I'd recommend it to anybody looking to visit the region. I took a day trip to Venice (bus to Treviso, train to Venice) and it couldn't have been simpler. Venice is great, but I'm glad I stayed out in the countryside. Il Cascinale is a winner.

Great place, only a few kms away from Treviso airport and Treviso.

Reasonable fix price menu, we had several appetizers, 2 starters, 1 main roast turkey, several side dishes, cake, coffee, and wine all included.

The place is family run, and the place is very spatious, with a children playpark included.

You won't get more value for your money.

Room Tip: I have not been to the hotel but only to the restaurant

We stayed 2 weeks (for business) and enjoyed the place and the friendly service.
The rooms are big with lots of space, the restaurant (W-E) serves excellent fresh food, WiFi is fast. Private parking. Bikes. Very close to the city center, airport and train station.
This is a place to come back; for business or leisure...

Room Tip: Try the house wine and the Radicchio. Reservation in the restaurant might be necessary.
