We happened to choose this property because we were arriving into the Venice area late at night and thought it looked like a lovely stopover. It ended up being our favorite place because the villa is charming, well maintained, quiet, and really has excellent customer service. For example, we arrived after 9.30pm to our suite and the owner personally stopped by our room after we settled in to say hello and make sure everything was okay. We were also quite tired from our flight and didn't feel like going out, so one of the hotel staff ran into town to pick up food for us. These personal touches, combined with the property itself, made it very special. Breakfast is included and very generous with a nice selection of Illy coffee, homemade pastries, cakes, etc. Getting to and from the hotel is an easy 20 euro taxi ride from the airport, though the next time we stay there it would be better to have a car. We really wished we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here for one night on our way back hone from Tuscany.
Hotel is based outside of city. Has small park.
Staff is very useful and helpful.
Rooms are clean and nicely decorated.
You feel as at home
Will highly recommend a place if you need a good stay in Treviso

We stayed for ten days as part of our honeymoon and this was everything it had promised to be and more.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. The family of the owner were utterly charming and more helpful than anyone could have expected them to be.
We were treated to a chilled bottle of prosecco on the terrace on our first night.
My only regret is that I can't just give up everything and live there.

The owner has "IT". This place is very clean, very relaxing, very "personal". The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room and bathroom was luxurious. And when the pool is up and running (maybe next year?) this place could easily be run as a small luxury hotel.

This is a very pleasant surprise - a 18th century villa that has been immaculately restored and furnished and still in the same family. It is in a walled garden that is manicured and has a beautiful walk around the perimeter, with covered areas for a quiet drink or relax, lots of shade and in an area that is very peaceful. The property is also secure. The room we had on the top floor (there are three levels and no lift, though staff are very willing to help haul up the luggage) was perfect - clean, very well furnished and in exceelent condition despite the origins of the building. The huge suite has two main rooms (lounge and bedroom) plus an entry and the bathroom. There's TV, wi-fi, internet and an audio system, plus all the facilities of the TV room and library downstairs. Treviso was used as a starting point for our 30min rail trips to Venice) and so we had a chance to check out the small town. But though Treviso is relatively small and pretty, the traffic is horrendous. Get prepared for long queues of cars. Back to Villa Zane for a rest; Giacomo, the owner, welcomes us with a glass of Prosecco and proffered his own maps of Treviso and Venice which listed all the good restaurants and things to see. He also gave us bus and train timetables. Breakfast is from 8am which was a bit late for us but it was an excellent spread and all made to order. The dining room - suited to four couples - was as well presented as the rest of the villa, with beautiful table service, napkins and so on. There’s an excellent under-roof porch with big, comfy chairs and stacks of magazines and newspapers for relaxing during the day (but specially evening after a hard day walking around). Villa Zane is thoroughly recommended and priced well. Maybe a fraction out of town but was worth it for the peace and quiet.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good - just be prepared for the staircase if you're on the upper level.

The Villa has just a few rooms, but all of them decorated with excellent taste of Venetian style. Calm place, at night the staff light candles in the vast garden. Upon arrival you get a gift – bottle of sparkling vine and fruits. Moreover, this villa is set not far from the famous outlet in Venice, so you can make shopping there.
