“Weird and loud”

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night before flying out after a trip to Venice. The place is a bit strange - you are given one of three rooms in what used to be an appartment. We could hear everything!!! The doors were squeeking, every 5 mins people would come, open the door, go to the kitchen, talk, leave again, we couldn't sleep well at all. Also, you know that whatever you do in the room can also be heard by the others. A strange place, that's all I can say. Though it is conveniently located, with a supermarket Billa 2 mins away. The whole city of Treviso overall is not worth the hype, or maybe it just feels like a waste after Venice.

Stayed here for one night and i liked it.
First of all, the design, the owners tried hard to create so detailed retro atmosphere, everything on its place. Completely adore this style. The kitchen was clean. There I felt as i'm at home.
And the location is good for not staying too long, 8 minutes from the center and 3 minutes to bus station, from where you can directly get to the Treviso Airport. Opposite the hotel there is Billa supermarket, which is also very comfortable.
Worth staying.

This is a dirty hostel above a bar.

This was the dirtiest place we stayed on our entire 2-week trip to Italy.
Manuela was very friendly and quick – she checked us in less then 5 minutes and disappeared – we never saw her again. We couldn’t even ask for a glass of water in this place.

Her concept of Bed and Breakfast is obviously twisted, she pointed us to the kitchen with disgusting industry packed brioches, sugar packed yogurt in the fridge and a coffee machine that put out dirty bitter water. The second day all of our dirty dishes from breakfast the day before were still there – simply disgusting. The bedroom had so much dust everywhere that we tried our best not to touch anything.

Unless you have real business to do in Treviso I highly recommend you avoid the city altogether. It’s not close to Venice (Venezia). There is only one train in the morning and one train at night – so very differently then what many places in town promote on their websites, it’s not convenient to stay here if you’re planning to visit Venice. At any time of day or night you’ll see prostitutes in the streets and drivers are so stressed out that it will kill any good vibes for your vacation.

Room Tip: Ideal for teenagers who are backpacking, getting drunk and simply looking for a place to crash - alt...

The owners of the B&B know how to manage a business. They r friendly , professional and helpfull. The B&B is in a fantastic location, extremely clean, really nice rooms, confortable beds and super cool furniture of the 70's. When I go back to Treviso I will definably go back there. Thank you soooo much for taking good care of us. Iole and Vincent

This place is incredible. Every detail is perfect, yet nothing overdone, and it is still cosy. The wallpaper is amazing, the furniture is amazing, the bed is so comfortable, and the Italian copy of Blade Runner (the book) is the cherry on top.
The entire place is spotless, of course including the kitchenette and the lovely bathroom (even the toilet roll dispenser and decorations are perfectly seventies). The balcony of tables for breakfast is really beautiful, and the breakfast itself - including the coffee from the machine someone commenting below got so upset about - is excellent. I´m from Australia, so i do like my big savory breakfasts, but 'when in Rome' (or Treviso), you compromise, and this is hardly much of a compromise. The breakfast is as good as hotel continental breakfasts get in Italy.

I love the combination of quality and novelty. It is a very romantic place, or perfect for one or a family. I think the complainer down there might be happier somewhere generic, where staff must be panicking and at attention, every minute. This place is really lovely, the staff have been wonderful, helping me with my suitcase, and even picking me up from the airport with his kids. I had had a really bad day, and had not imagined i could be instantly cheered up and in such calm surroundings. I am very lucky, and feel like i´m an oasis or in a movie.

p.s. Excellent location, free wi-fi, and the wallpaper - it is the real deal, and looks new even so. Anyone complaining about that might be happier in a hospital.

If you want to stay at B&B Madame Upstairs be sure to book the top floor appartment. The two large rooms are artisticly decorated with lovely details. There are two double beds and one single bed. The bathroom is nice and clean, so is the appartment. There is also en very large roofterras with outside oven for BBQ. The only dissappointment was the breakfast without fresh bread ;-( The vintage coffeemachine is a real Italian one, very loud! But it makes good strong coffee. Location is top! Right in the centre of Treviso and very close to the trainstation.
We enjoyed our stay very much.

I spent a long weekend at this B&B.
The location is ideal, in the very centre of Treviso, close to the Cathedral, five minutes walk to Piazza dei Signori (the main square in the city) and ten minutes on foot to the railway station. On my arrival I was heartily welcomed. The premises are unique: every room is furnished with original vintage items, but no room is like the other. I was well satisfied with the cleanliness. As for breakfast, it is rather basic, but on the whole I had a pleasant stay. It was definitely worth the expense.
P.S.: Treviso is just 32 km (20 miles) from Venice, and it only takes about 30/40 minutes to get there by train (in Venice hotel prices are much higher!).
