This reminded me of the hotel in the recent Wes Anderson film. It was great for a night. Staff very good and great location for station and the beautiful town centre. Breakfast was a disappointment given the quality of produce in this area, but the pre sleep drink in the bar was enjoyable. I would recommend it and would stay again though I'd probably have a look to see what else is around. It is a bit dated but a perfectly acceptable place for a stop over with charm.

If you are after a modern stylish hotel then this is not the place for you.

If however you want a building with some character then this is the place to try.

The place was built about 50 years ago and the original owner was an architect. The wooden doors on the rooms are magnificent. The floor in our room was wooden blocks which I suspect are original.

The built in wardrobe was full of character.

Most of the staff spoke good English and were very helpful.

The breakfast was what one has come to expect from hotels in Europe. One reviewer complained about lack of anything hot but from my experience this is common in Europe.

There was the expected selection of cereals, bread, jams, ham, cheese, fruit and yoghurt typical of what you will find in most European hotels.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station and Treviso is just over half an hour from Venice.

The number 6 bus from Treviso airport stops almost outside the hotel.

Treviso is a delightful town with lots of narrow streets, several with covered pavements, to explore along with several small rivers.

It was a walled town and a lot of the wall still exists and there is a one way ring road around the walls.

The staff welcomed you in English and check-in was efficient. However, the room was a bit dated with a creaky wooden block floor although it was reasonably spacious. Unfortunately the “double bed” consisted of two single mattresses pushed together so paying for single occupancy gained no benefit. The bathroom functioned OK although the lobby light was kaput…

Breakfast was also a letdown, as nothing freshly cooked [i.e. warm] was available, not even a boiled egg, unless you counted DIY toast. There was pre-prepared coffee in jugs, but to get fresh you had to know to ask the waitress, Yes there was fruit juice [of sorts], cereal and a few yogurts and pastries but nothing to write home about...

It’s also handy for the rail station and was adequate [if a bit overpriced] for a one night stay.

Room Tip: Ones overlooking the side street are queiter

They have a bar that reads "American Bar" in neon outside, but don't let that fool you! There is hardly anyone ever there and when there is, it's to watch futbol (soccer). The day shift speaks English well, but night shift does not (at least not for us). Our blinds were stuck in the UP position, we asked the night shift gentleman (through a series of hand gestures to help us), when he got up to the room he gave it a tug (something we had done, plus so much more - including crawling on chairs - messing with wires- etc...in hopes that WE didn't mess them up!) and then said "You ask in daytime." and left. My husband and I waited until he was out of ear shot and broke down in laughter. It was a perfect moment. Indeed the blinds did get adjusted the next day. Breakfast is nice, the rooms are clean and spacious, it is close to the train, shopping, supermarket and restraunts. It's a good hotel with memories to be made.

If you want to have a clean, safe hotel that is comfortable with spacious rooms that provide all you need but lack stylish embellishments and decoration then this hotel is ideal for convenience when you want to spend most of the time sightseeing in Venice. An added bonus is that Treviso is a surprisingly charming and interesting place in its own right, with some great things to see and do all within easy walking distance.
I was visiting Venice, but with luggage to carry, I chose this hotel as it was just across the road from the train station at which I arrived and only a very short cab ride to Treviso airport for an easy departure. I would say it is styled for efficiency as a businessman’s hotel, but nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was limited but sufficient choice for a healthy set up for a day’s walking the alleyways and plazas of Venice. Despite there being no restaurant, there is a great bar that is so ornate and unexpected when compared to the rest of this rather ordinary and dated hotel. The staff recommended a truly wonderful family run Italian restaurant called TONIdelSPIN that was only a short walk away, situated in a small lane behind the main town square. This is not just the place to eat it is an experience to sit among the locals and return clients that would probably rather keep this charming place a closely guarded secret.
The town has great architecture and the main square changes in ambience throughout the day, being the perfect place for people watching. The square is also the place that Italy’s most stylish designer dogs, in their latest designer dog outfits meet their friends and take along their designer owners for a bit of exercise and to show off.
The town has many upmarket shops and classy places to dine and chill over an expresso, or in the winter a deliciously aromatic spicy mulled wine. There was also an extensive and interesting antique street market with prices more reasonable than their classy counterparts in the glitzy shopping streets of this vibrant and photogenic gem of a town, almost hidden and forgotten on the edge of the glittering Italian crown that is Venice. This hotel delivers you everything you need for great day trips by train to Venice (30-minutes away) and at a price and convenience that cannot be matched in Venice.
Well run and excellent value – I would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: Best location if visiting Venice

Have to say i really wanted to like this hotel as on first glance it has some real old world charm. The bar off the foyer I think is great and the rooms thems elves I found fine. The foyer however absolutely reeks of drains. No doubt about it. The hotel throughout looks like it has ha d certain refurbishments that were never quite finished. Breakfast was ok but because of the rugby game going on that day, it was full and I was unable to be seated initially.

The front of house staff are very mixed:

A new girl who speaks little and is a bit uncertain but will no doubt improve.
A middle aged gentlemen who is like Lurch out of the Adams family (breathing for him seems like an inconvenience)
A younger chap, well dressed who is very enthusiastic and willing to help.

Overall I kind of liked it as it was ver central, cloase to reastaurants etc but both thesmell in the foyer and certain receptionsists attitude let it down. Praise for the barman who was very well informed and was very friendly yet professional.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have showers , if you want one you need to ask.

We went to support our team playing Treviso. The location is perfect the Airport bus stops outside, the bus to the ground is 10 yards away and the station is 50 yards away should you want to go to Venice. The rooms are clean and basic breakfast is adequate. Lovely bar which is not expensive
