This cellar restaurant's entrance is hidden away in an archway by the Hotel Carlton in Treviso. We found it on our first visit only by recommendation of this hotel where we were staying. Clients are warmly welcomed by one of the family owners and seated for a rundown on their dishes of the day, while being presented with a glass of Prosecco. Don't miss the antipasti which is self-service on a large circular buffet inside the entrance door. We followed this with one of the excellent veal dishes on the menu, washed down with some excellent white and red wines from the local region, Veneto. This is definitely one for making a special visit - make sure you do not miss it. You will find many local people there who obviously know where to find great value. We visited three times.
