A friend and I stayed here for three nights and would highly recommend it. The location is very handy: the number 6 bus from Treviso airport (buy your tickets inside the terminal at the information desk) stops just a few steps away from the apartment at Piazza San Pio X. A short walk from the apartment takes you to Treviso railway station, making the journey into Venice, or Marco Polo airport, very straightforward.
We had the warmest welcome imaginable from Lilly and Mario. They showed us around the immaculate and well-stocked apartment and made up the very comfortable sofa bed in the living for one of us. There was a lot of storage provided which was useful for short-term unpacking. The kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom had everything that we could have wished for. Coffee, tea, milk and other staples were provided meaning that we could have a quick breakfast in the apartment, enabling a quick start in the mornings. There are local shops should you need to buy more supplies.
Although we didn’t have our own transport, we understand that parking is available.
There are plenty of places to eat nearby, which was a welcome relief from the crowds of Venice. Lilly can recommend a small osteria just footsteps away as well as a local restaurant (Da Roberto) that served delicious pizza at reasonable prices. Treviso itself is a pretty town and is worth having a look at in its own right. I would definitely stay here again should I be visiting Venice
Isola di Mezzo was such a charming place to stay at. The rooms were elegantly decorated and the host was so friendly. She gave us tips on how to visit places nearby and contacts to good restaurants. We definitely recommend this place.
Isola di Mezzo is about 10 minutes walk from the station, and was easily found. It is only a few minutes walk from the town centre as well. Egle and Mario answered the intercom and showed is to our apartment on the second floor.
There is a lift that made carrying our luggage upstairs very easy. Egle and Mario were great hosts, helping us as needed. Their apartment is only a few metres away also on the second floor.
Our apartment was just the right size for two. The two main rooms, bedroom and sitting room, are very nicely furnished, with very tasteful pictures on the walls. There were large windows with a street view. The kitchen, though small had everything we needed. All appliances were modern and worked easily. And everything was spotless. Fresh sheets and towels were provided mid week.
It is an apartment we will certainly return to.
Egli and Mario have a beautiful apartment and were amazingly helpful. Egli organised our hire car to pick us up saving us a taxi trip of 7k across town! A great position to travel to Venice by train or bus for a day trip. Love Treviso and this great family and lovely apartment.
Very nice appartment and people who run it, they make you feel like at home. All appartment is very clean and it has everything needed (even breakfast was provided). The owners are very helpful and have great recommendations.
It is a convenient location near by center of Treviso and close by the train station to visit Venice as well.
We would definitely come back.
Stayed in this one bedroom apartment for 3 nights. Egle and Mario are delightful and went to the trouble of arranging an English speaking friend to help translate on our arrival. Egle has thought of everything you may need with extra generous touches that made our stay comfortable. We ate out each night and with our hosts leaving the fridge stocked with milk, water, juice and yoghurt we only needed to stock up on a few non Italian breakfast bits which we did at the Conad supermarket one block away.
The apartment is located approx 10 minutes walk from the train station and is a few blocks from the Old town & Duomo. Treviso was a great location to meet up with family from the UK and an easy 35 mins train journey to Venice. Also the towns folk still keep the tradition of the passegiatta on a Sunday evening when they come out en masse to stroll, chat and eat gelato.
The apartment is fully equipped and decorated in a delightful way which gives it a really homely feel. It is exceptionally clean and there is plenty of room for clothes and bags.
It is inside the old city wall and the town centre is but a short stroll away. There is a relaxed air about the town and it is pleasant to browse and just sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. It is set in a lovely area of Italy with lakes, mountains great vinyards just a short easy drive away. We have loved our stay and would stay here again when next in the area.
