We stayed here for our time in Venice and found it to be absolutely perfect! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. It is the perfect distance from the train station but away from all the tourists. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had two rooms booked, for one night after our cruise. We were on the ground floor. The room size was fine, however one room had an issue with the shower. There was no shower screen and the shower curtain didn't come to the ground so water flooded the bathroom after each shower.

The breakfast was average. Not a massive range and the eggs weren't very good unfortunately. It certainly doesn't compare to the buffet breakfast we had at our other Venice hotel.

There was free wifi, but not in the rooms, only in the breakfast area.

It was fine for one night, but if you're staying for more than one night, I'd probably recommend staying somewhere else... I can highly recommend the Papadopoli M Gallery Collection!!

The hotel has a good location in Venice. The staff were super attentive. The hotel has a decor that mixes old and modern style and uses many colors. The room is quite comfortable. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The hotel offers a great complimentary breakfast. I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

We stayed at Domina Home Ca' Zusto at the beginning of July 2014. Our family of 4 had 2 rooms on the same floor. Beds are large and moderately comfortable. The area is quiet at night so we got good nights of sleep after walking all day in the city.
Reception staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was served in the lounge on the second floor. It included a choice of cold options as well as scrambled eggs and bacon in a warmer plate (the eggs were slightly dried and the bacon, undercooked). On the other hand, the cakes were excellent (I ate too much of that). The only downside in the breakfast area is the tables and chairs, not suited to sit down for breakfast, but rather to have a drink at the end of the day (lounge style). I suppose they did not want us to linger too long...
Overall, we were satisfied with our choice, mainly because of the location of this hotel. We could walk easily to any part of the town, and even come back in the afternoon when we felt tired and go out again later. I imagine that Venice being rather small, many hotels offer the same convenience.

No, really you don't. This is one of those little gem hotels. Its location might seem a little out of the way, but actually it's rather clever. It's on a quiet street which is a short walk from a vaporetto stop. The train station is 20 minutes walk in one direction, Rialto bridge is about the same distance in the opposite direction.

Okay, so it doesn't have a restaurant or a view of the water. Or a private water taxi to whisk you in style along the grand canal. But then it doesn't have an "OMG How much?" price tag either.

Friendly courteous staff. Well equipped and colourful rooms. Decent breakfast. Wifi in the lounge.

If there was a downside, we didn't find it. Recommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 202 - perfectly fine.
