We almost gave up on finding this place but we asked some locals and they guided us in the right direction. It is small but cosy and serves cichetti. Several dishes are in display and you can choose form those. There is also an al a carte section in this place but it is also very small. We order the House wine of Pinot Grigio to go with our Crostini of Baccala Mantecato and mushrooms with rosemary. A quick bite to eat in a place with great atmosphere and service.

My friend and I arrived at about 7:00 PM. We do understand that this is a busy time. We were understanding of the 15 minutes wait. Both the waiter and waitress seemed to be annoyed. They did not smile or say anything friendly. When we tried to inquire whether there are any seats are available, we were just informed ‘no’ in a very rude tone. We are disappointing to be treated so rudely.

A very loud place with local citizens. The kitchen is good, especially seafood. Hard to find, not so many tourists. The prices are average. Two types of kitchen and pricing:at the counter and by the table, but you can sit, if you order something from the menu.

We discovered this amazing Osteria, fantastic first time, we wanted to come back to try other dishes, second time the girl waitress was rude and food totally different, we left with a very sour taste, how can that be????? Cheap and cheerful, great customers, but wrong staff!!!

This is a great little restaurant, perfect for little bites for lunch. You just point what you want, have some wine and voila, yummy. We had an artichoke dish, fried zucchini flowers, cod fish bruschetta. Yummy! Thanks to Linda whom we met on the plane who told us not to be afraid to go off the beaten path in Venice. This was one of the 4 that she recommended.
