Beautiful blend of modern and classic. Excellent customer care and attention and situated only a small stroll from the biggest and most beautiful attractions that Venice has to offer. Very Picturesque with a eye catching view from which ever balcony you happen upon!

Room Tip: My other half and i had a standard double and it was spacious, romantic and a lovely place to park o...

We stayed three nights in this delightful hotel. On arrival, we were upgraded to a junior suite - always a good start. Rooms either have a view of the narrow canal or face the campo. We were on the 1st floor with a view of the campo. Although a handful of young boys (under 11 I'd guess) played football outside, we never noticed any noise in our room. As other reviewers have noted, this is quiet location but with easy access to St Mark's square, Rialto bridge etc.

Breakfast was comprehensive with bacon & srambled eggs available, as well as a full range of juices, fruit, cold meat, bread, pastries etc. The only blip was the lack of natural yoghurt on the last morning.

The service from the front desk was outstanding. Amongst other things, they noticed (from my passport) that it was my birthday on the 2nd day and a bottle of prosecco in an ice bucket was placed in our room that evening. It was a real pleasure to stay at Ruzzini Palace.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Ruzzini Palace hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was a lovely surprise! The room was beautiful with everything we needed and the view over the canal was lovely. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was included and there was a very big selection to choose from including prosecco and on our last morning as we were leaving before breakfast the hotel offered us a breakfast box to take away which we were very grateful for. The hotels location is ideal for seeing all the major sights and restaurants.
We went on the free Murano glass factory tour which was interesting, the trip on the boat to the factory was lovely. The tour itself is of a glass factory showroom but you do get to see some glass objects being made which was great to see. The factory did arrange a free taxi back to San Marco but we stayed on the island of Murano and then took a water bus over to the island of Burano which turned out to be a lovely trip as both islands were worth seeing and very picturesque!
I'd happily recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: A Room with a view of the canal but if you tend to sleep in or are a light sleeper maybe a room to t...

On a recent trip with my husband to Venice we had the fortunate opportunity to stay at Ruzzini Palace Hotel. Although close to the hub of activity in Venice, this elegant hotel is located in a peaceful square within a few minutes walk to the sites. The rooms are gracious and immaculately clean but more than that, the staff were most helpful with every detail of our plans and their recommendations from restaurants to entertainment were thoughtful and perfect. Staying at this hotel made our weekend getaway extra special and most enjoyable.

Room Tip: The rooms in the front look over the square which is lovely.

The hotel enjoys a quiet location but is extremely convenient for all the attractions in Venice. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. They arranged our transfers to and from the airport. They gave us useful information and would have arranged other excursions had we required it. The room was a good size and well equipped for tourists. Although be aware that being on the continent milk was not provided with the tea/coffee making facilities. (This was not a problem for us). There is a small supermarket and market stalls close by as well as a variety eating places. The continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I would certainly put the Ruzzini Palace at the top of my hotel list for a future visit to Venice.

My girlfriend and I traveled to Venice for a 3-day break in April 2014 and stayed at the Ruzzini Palace after following recommendations on this site; we were not disappointed. Despite arriving before the official check-in time of 2pm (we arrived at 11am), they checked us in early and did so with a smile. The staff provided a map, advised us on local attractions and restaurants and were very helpful indeed. As others have commented, the Ruzzini also provided free travel to Murano Island to view the glass-making factory, with no obligation to spend anything extra.

Our room was the standard booking and provided an excellent view of the square outside. A large television, mini bar and shower were also provided. Although the Jacuzzi function in the bath was "out of order" - this did not detract from a very pleasant experience.

Following our stay, our return flight was very early in the morning, and the staff were more than happy to provide an extensive "breakfast bag" of various items for our journey to the airport.

Overall, we would gladly recommend staying at this hotel for any couples taking a romantic break to this city. The staff, accommodation and location were quite simply, superb.

We were upgraded from the Junior to the Royal Suite and it was absolutely stunning with the fresco ceilings in both rooms. It was incredibly spacious and had fantastic views front (Santa Maria Formosa) & back (canal). Diffusers gave the rooms a lovely smell too. The bathroom was sparkling & modern. The staff were very friendly & helpful & gave us each a complimentary drink for my birthday. Breakfast was great - lots of choice and good quality. The hotel is well positioned for Piazza San Marco and great shops, bars and restaurants. Overall an unforgettable experience and if I go back I would definitely want to return to Ruzzini Palace as I can't imagine anywhere else beating it!
