“Gorgeous seafood, warm service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

We chose this place randomly one hungry evening after sightseeing. We were greeted warmly and our waiter was happy to explain the menu.

The salmon marinated in saffron was awesomelicious. Very nice indeed.

“Good food and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

Our first night back in Venice and a short walk from the lovely apartment we found this really good restaurant. We had a quarter litre proscecco and a bottle of house merlot as well as sparkling water. To start we both had bruschetta, which was terrific 2 slices of warm toast with lovely ripe tomatoes and rocket on the side. Then John had pasta with prawns and I had diavola pizza. Both really good. John had coffee and a grappa. Total cost 78 Euros - excellent value for good food and wine. Hope to return...

Had a very pleasant lunch here - solid pizza and pasta. Reasonable prices, friendly service. Plenty of seating. Would recommend.

“Good food, strange decor”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2014

The food here is very good and the restaurant is situated near Accademia in Dorsoduro. The service was good although we noticed some people got the wrong food - usually when the manager(?) came out to "help" the waitress. Errors corrected immediately so it tended to add to the charm of the place. Would happily go again. The decor is somewhat odd - cross between art gallery and junk shop with no obvious theme. Bits of odd pipe and electrical trunking and some bits of the ceiling lining held up with paper clips. But don't let this put you off - put it down to eccentricity and enjoy it.

“Super pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2014

We each had a huge pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The menu offers a range rarely seen! The restaurant is in a lovely old building, the service was good and we spent several hours over our meal without being rushed - the time flew by!

Beware, the location shown on the TripAdvisor is incorrect...

Also, in January 2014 we were told they were closing for a few days to reopen under new management. I hope they continue to be as good.
