This was our final stop in Venice and it was a great place to finish it with. My issue with Venice has been the price of the food and it not bein worth it. This place whilst very expensive and the seats being incredibly uncomfortable. The food is fantastic, we had a party of five and no one was disappointed which was a first for our trip! Burratta ravioli is a dream and the veal was the best I've ever had! Whilst the food lives up to it's reputation. The seats were incredibly uncomfortable which made wanting to spend more time there painful! This place will be the best place you eat at in Venice!

We last dined here for our 5th anniversary 15 years ago... And wanted to show friends an exceptional night for their 51st anniversary! And as THE legendary dining room in Venice, where else to take them?! Many changes have happened since our last visit- but the fabulous and elegant atmosphere remain, with a very current menu. We of course started with drinks and snacks on the Piazzo San Marco a few feet from the wonderful orchestra. Then- upstairs. Dinner was fab, fab, fab.... Not a single course disappointed, not a single mis-step from the staff was experienced; the leisurely night was perfect! Expensive? Of course ( all of Venice is...). Outrageous for the experience? Not in the least. The reality is- ala carte dining with selective wine pairing can be had for not so much more than lesser restaurants. Very much recommended-- and we'll not wait so long to return....

It is impossible to critise this restaurant. The staff were really helpful (they speak fluent French and English), friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious! The prices are high - but you get what you pay for.

My wife picked this as it was our wedding anniversary and having read some mixed reviews I was a little sceptical.
However from the moment we arrived until the moment we leave the staff were attentive, the surroundings elegant, the ambience lovely and the food was superb.
Treated to amuse bouche and other little selections it really was gastronome heaven. Taster menu's average 200 euro's but you can choose a starter and main for well under this. There was no pressure to purchase an expensive wine, it was all done on a ipad, the sommelier left us and you can put in price range first before making your choice.
Venice is very expensive, even if you dine at average restaurant's so in my opinion Quadri is worth the money.

This restaurant is new. It is a sister restaurant of a 5 star restaurant in Verona. This restaurant is expensive. Having said that, it is really, really good. The restaurant is located in St. Mark's Square. It is upstairs from an inexpensive cafe on the Square level. A reservation is necessary. We walked in one day on a lark and asked if we could get a resrevation for that evening. They informed us they were all booked. I left my card and told them we were at the Hotel Danieli. Within 2 hours they had called the hotel and informed us that we had a reservation for that evening. I do not know whether the choice of our hotel helped or not, but I suspect it did. We arrived that evening and were promptly seated at a lovely oversized table. My wife and I each enjoyed a glass of wine recommended by the sommelier. The 18 page menu reveals several tasting menus at various price points. In order to try the tasting menu the entire table must participate. We chose to order from the "secondi piatti" menu. We each ordered the "Astice al vaporo all'olio e salsa di crescione", or steamed lobster sour potato puree and watercress sauce. It was marvelous! The food in this restaurant was the finest we tasted in Venice. The restaurant should not be overlooked when one is in Venice.
