We ordered the razor clams and scallops, which were good. The soup and seafood pasta were WAY TOO SALTY. 1 star.

The squid ink pasta was okay.

This one of the best restaurants in Venice. Pasta and fish dishes cooked to perfection. Excellent value.

It is not so easy to find so excellent Venetian restaurant between so many tourist orientated restaurants, mainly witn Chinese cooks.. We have found very good fish and seefoods menu with fantastic home feeling staff. Stephano was really excellent preparing food a front of us and on the end typical Italian "sorbet". We can only recommend it to whom they are looking to find good atmosphere and excellent food. Francesco and friends

We wanted so much to love this place. It's tucked away on a side street in Dorsoduro, with football pennants and other sports memorabilia on the walls, and no menu or barker out on the sidewalk, the kind of place that looks like a fun neighborhood hangout. It might very well have been a hangout, but not at night, when the clientele was all tourists, and the owner pushed a single dish - the sea bass carpaccio, prepared tableside with much noise and flashing of knives - on every single table. The sea bass was fine, and would have been fine without all the gab and showmanship times however many tables were occupied, but we found the other dishes mediocre. Overall, a disappointment.

Do Farai is a very nice restaurant located in the Dorsoduro neighborhood. By the standards of mid priced Venetian restaurants, the food is very nicely prepared and the service is quite good. But the otherwise unoccupied outdoor square in which the restaurant maintains a few tables is one of the most charming places that I've ever dined.
