This restaurant is on Torcello, in the lagoon. We visited the island when we went out to see the two old churches on the island. It is midway between the vaparetto stop and the churches. When we first passed it we commented on its large seating capacity. On our return, it was full of groups. We were hesitant to go in, but they have smaller tables set up at the front and the atmosphere and menu was attractive. We had a simple two dish lunch, calamari and a spaghetti pomodoro. Both dishes came quickly and were steaming when they were set on the table. With half a liter of white wine and water, lunch came to 32 euros. Don't be put off by the fact that this is a large group restaurant, they handled us and other couples fast and efficiently.
