My wife and me had booked Centurion Palace looking at its high trip advisor ratings - glad to say the hotel walks the talk!

The rooms are functional and funky - the bathtub near the bed is an outstanding touch - just perfect to relax tired feet after hours of losing yourself in the alleys of Venice! The bathroom was done up in shimmering faux gold, felt like royalty! Do see the attached pics. The lounge has style too.

Stefano, at the reception desk, was especially helpful - answered all our sight seeing/trainitalia schedules queries patiently. He even lent us a laptop free to go with a 3 Euro wi-fi internet card!

The only possible improvements I can think of:

1. More English language viewing options on TV
2. Tea/Coffee Maker in the room
3. Easy to splatter water in the washbasin - can be easily remedied.

Overall, a choice you just can't go wrong with!

The wife and I have been fortunate enough to stay in many hotels in our time. However, this hotel by far was the BEST. We stayed for 6 nights. We booked a superior double room. It was AMAZING. the bed was very comfortable and large. the room had a his and hers stone sink. the bedroom had a bathtub as well as the rainfall shower in the bathroom.

The room had a very powerful hairdryer, amenities, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, electronic safe, hangers etc.

The room was cleaned twice a day. a forecast of the weather would be left along with chocolates every evening too.

The complimentary breakfast every day was brilliant. A huge choice of fruit, croissants, pain aux chocolate, eggs, juice, hot drinks etc. Normally, I never get up for breakfast at hotels, but here, I was there everyday. also the view from the breakfast area in to the grand canal is unparalleled.

Location - It is based based on the grand Canal, extremely close to the Academia Bridge and right next to Salute Vappereto stop. It is located close to a super market, shops, tourist sites and bridges. Could not imagine a better location to stay at on the entire grand canal.

Service - The staff were extremely polite, friendly and extremely helpful.

Cleanliness - extremely clean hotel

If you are going to venice, dont think twice, STAY here. you will not regret it. The wife and I did our research for over two weeks and could not beat this hotel in terms of price, location and quality.

If I visit Venice again, I would stay here. I have also recommended this to my friends.

Regards
The Saleh's

We forgot our adaptor for our appliances and they were so helpful found one for me so quick . only one thing the room was quite small and the shower didn't work properly soaked the room so had to have a bath all the time still didn't spoil our time there as the fittings in the bathroom are lovely stayed in superior room but if stayed there again would definitely up grade next time as no view out of the room also but don't let that put you off breakfast were great sipping champers overlooking the grand canal couldn't be more perfect

My wife and I have been to Venice many times. We prefer staying in Dosoduro because it is relatively quiet and has excellent art-oriented shopping. This was our first stay in the Centurian Palace. (We travelled with friends who also stayed at the hotel.) We have stayed in many different hotels all generally 4 and 5 star. The Centurian Palace is without a doubt the best hotel experience we have had. The modern design of the hotel and the rooms are exceptional. Every aspect of the room is intended to delight the senses and no expense has been spared. But what makes a hotel rise above simple physical luxury is the attentiveness of the staff to your needs. And in this area the Centurian Palace is at the highest level along with the Bauer, Gritti Palace and Cipriani. The hotel is designed for a younger more creative demographic - typically movie people or attendees of the Venice Biannale. However, you don't have to be Johnny Depp to receive exceptional personal service. Our friends who stayed in one of the larger rooms were also incredibly impressed and also said that their stay was unmatched in Venice.

If you want to experience the ultimate in modern design and luxury, you can not do better than the Centurian Palace.
