We had a lovely stay at Sara's apartment, which was in a great location. Although it was a bit lively in daytime and early evening (which suited us), it was lovely and quiet overnight so a great sleep! The facilities were pretty good, but more than one wine glass would have been appreciated.
This apartment is really close to Rialto bridge and the wonderful vegetable, fruit and fish markets there, and it is also close to the vaporetto stop for boats to all over Venice.
We didn't meet Sara but her mother Franca met us and was very helpful.
There was tea and some coffee, and a few things in the cupboard we could use on arrival. It felt like a traditional Italian appartment and was comfortable with plenty of equipment one might need. Wet weather the first couple of days meant it was a little cool at times and I couldn't turn on the heating, but if I'd been desperate I'm very sure Franca would have come to sort that out. Nice genuine people.
