This place is not easy to find! Even with directions from the website, our B&B owner and 2 random people in the area we still had difficulty...........and we are generally very good with directions! The mistake is how to interpret "just over the bridge".....we were going straight over the bridge, while we really needed to take an immediate left over the bridge, along the canal. Even doing that you have to walk a ways, with no signage until you reach the right door way. We opted for the dinner/show package, and arrived at 7 as the website said doors open at 7; dinner is served at 8; and the show starts at 9. We were turned away at 7 and told to come back at 8.....so not starting out well! LOL It's easy to wonder around the area, look in shops and stop for wine, so we had no trouble killing an hour! We came back at 8 and had our choice of tables and chose a private one in the back. Dinner was surprisingly good, with lasagna and wine. Our waiter/owner/band member was great, and even let me sample some grappa which was something I wanted to experience before leaving Italy. OMG! ....at least I can say I tried it! LOL The night we were there it appeared they had at least 2 guest band members....hard to say how every night compares, but we thought this group was outstanding! I think jazz is a little unexpected in Venice........but if you are a fan of this type of music, I would say this is a must see/do activity while in Venice!
