Venice can lead to leg pain, but the restaurant San Stefano allow the pain to forget. There are many other restaurants around but this one attracts by the generous smile of waiters and menus. Comfortable chairs, large tables. The full taste of the wonderful dishes could be enjoyed if the Italian approach to smoking in the restaurant gardens is only abandoned.

I highly recommend the Carpaccio of tuna and squid. Best dishes should be served in the accompaniment of white wine. I strongly advise against house wine – it is too watered down. It is better to select bottled wine.

Venice... Your meal enrich the delights of the surrounding architecture and pigeon hunting on a piece of bread.

I'll be back at the earliest opportunity. Five stars.

Really mediocre restaurant sadly... We had a pizza with prosciutto and a salad with mozzarella and both were totally uninteresting and very very average.

We enjoyed our dinner here while in Venice. Service was great and friendly. Food was all amazing from the sliced meat antipasto, to the pizzas, cannelloni, and lasagna that we enjoyed as our main courses. All was reasonably priced for Venice - including the drinks.

The calzones are enormous and so good! The spinach cannelloni is amazing. Very good service. Tourist pricing but great courtyard to relax after a long day of sightseeing!

We spent 4 nights in Venice and we had dinner here twice. That tells you how much we enjoyed eating here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I don't speak Italian, but they loved that I made the effort when ordering. The wine and the food were good. It is not Michelin star food, but the flavours were great. it was good local food. The portions were plentiful and we truly enjoyed it. As we visited in February, it was not very busy and not warm enough to sit outside in the evening. Good location and great for a complete meal without breaking the bank. Really recommend it and you do probably need to book a table in high season.
