We happened on this gem on our final night in Venice and it provided the best meal of our stay.
Not the most attractive of venues but more than made up by the food
Two great waiters provide friendly and helpful service and are determined you enjoy your food. After having order rather plain meals we were asked if wanted to try something more interesting and they could make a lovely pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and Italian sausage for us. It was lovely.
We followed this with grilled sea bass which was freshly caught that day.
I would recommend looking this place out and just letting the waiters suggest a nice mead for you - cast away the printed menu and go for the authentic Venetian hospitality, enjoy
