Went for a less expensive meal in Venice. I started off with the Caprese salad and had the pasta with clams. Both were very fresh and very tasty. My wife had the grilled shrimp with calamari and polenta which she enjoyed as well. The service, on the other hand, was somewhat 'scattered'. We had to remind the waiter that a salad came with my wife's dish. The service was very quick at the beginning and slowed as the evening went on. Took about 45 minutes for my pasta to emerge, well after my wife was done with her meal. People dining near us, with kids, waited almost an hour for pasta dishes for their kids. Another couple who arrived 15 minutes after us were just getting their main courses when we were leaving! All in all, good food but the restaurant seemed short staffed for a busy restaurant in high season. Hopefully the owner will take note although based on other reviews here, this seems like a common theme.
