We were a party of 4 and took a 3 hour tour with Laura which consisted of an hour in St.Mark's Square and Basilica, an hour walking the back streets and the final hour on a water taxi exploring the Grand Canal and side canals. So, a well-balanced afternoon giving us an excellent insight into Venice's history and present day life. Laura was a wonderful guide, as others have attested. Knowledgeable and a good communicator on all levels (historic factual, anecdotal, etc.) she used visual aids (photos, images on her tablet) to illustrate the points she was making which helped us to understand what life was like, and is today, for Venetians. Overall there is nothing to beat the personal insight of a resident such as Laura..
We were meant to be part of a tour share with another couple who pulled out at the last minute. Laura's understanding and sympathy, (and ultimately, generosity) allowed the tour to continue so you can be assured that if you are booking with this company you are dealing with people with integrity.
Thank you Laura.
