“Vaporetta trip”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

We bought a three day ticket on the vaporetta (water bus) and used it every day. The best way to see visit is taking a trip all the way up the Grand Canal and then walk your way back. We also used this to gain our bearings for some of the sights we wanted to visit. We'll worth it.

“A thousand views, all fabulous”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

As almost all would agree, this is a must experience. Take a water bus (not a taxi) from any stop and just ride it around for an hour or so. The architecture, history and water only views are just amazing.
If you go early in the day the ferries are not as crowded, so you can move about a bit more freely.
You might want to consider a day pass or a two day pass. they are not expensive and make travel very cost efficient. To name all the sites is redundant. Bring something to drink and sit back and enjoy the experience.

I think it's impossible to travel to venice without boating through the Grand Canal. The canal is classic Venice.

“Best view in Venice”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

If you want to escape the multitudes of day trippers cramming for a snap shot spot on the Rialto Bridge, make your way to the Accademia Bridge. Calmer and even has a vaporeeto(ferry) stop. View travels down the canal with the quintessential domed peaks. Perfecto day and night!

“Most scenic waterway in the world”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Bustling with water traffic of all kinds from humble barges, and vaporettos, to speedy water taxis, private launches, and gleaming gondolas full of slightly self-conscious tourists having a great time - and all this against a backdrop of architectural wonders!
