“Beautiful Palazzo”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Wonderful palazzo museum with beautiful Venetian historic furniture and of course full of beautiful art works. It sits on the Grand Canal and one gets a feel for what Venice must have been like in the day of the Doges

“Interesting Museum”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

We visited this museum as part of our Venice City museum pass. It was very interesting to walk through all the rooms and see how Venetian homes were furnished. The rooms and furniture were exquisite. However, I would have enjoyed the tour more if there were English subtitles on some of the exhibits. Otherwise you will need to pay for an audio guide. Or you can bring your own guide of the museum from home and get the most out of your visit to this beautiful building.

“Amazing insight into early Venetian life”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Such an interesting museum!. It has tried to tie the art display into the culture of the day with furniture etc of the time. It could so with some further restoration but what has been done is fascinating. The murals and trompe le'oeil work are incredible.

“Beautiful Building”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

This building was exceptionally beautiful, and in a great location of the city. It is right in the middle of the Grand Canal, and you have a great view of the area. This building has so many beautiful, valuable objects. The audio guide did a great job pointing out exactly what was important. Well worth the visit!

“"Comprehensive baroque art experience"”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Ca Rezzonica is an enjoyable location--tables to relax and read, good snack bar and gift shop, and an incredible museum. Make sure to get the audio guide as it is thorough and helpful to lead you through the extensive collection of rooms, furniture, and art work. If you are short on time, go straight to the floor with the paintings. I visited at opening time and was practically alone in this enormous palazzo.
