“Beautiful to see once!”

Venice is beautiful. The bridge wonderful to see. Venice is good for no more than 2 days and it's filled with tons of people visiting it. The Rialto bridge is very congested with people.

“Venice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2014

Have to say I like Venice, lovely city to walk round. Only real tips are can give as as follows:-
Go in the early spring or late autumn, as near to winter as you can bare. There are few people about, and you get to see a lot more. Don't forget to visit the other islands too, Murano for the glass, Burano for the lace.
Travel by bus (vaporetto) especially if you flew in via one of of the cheap flights, as the land buses seem to drop you off at local water taxis, walk that bit further and find the vaporetto stop.

“Iconic and beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014 via mobile

The bridge is an iconic part of Venice and Italy it looks beautiful by day and night from the bank or rom the water. On and around the road over the bridge are lots of stalls selling anything a tourist could want but some of the items are a bit different from the usual touristy stuff. Well worth a visit.

“Shoppers paradise”

The best place to get your glass and unique souvenirs and gifts.
Again, the crowds can get overwhelming if you are not prepared. But I did not find the individual shops too crowded.

“Historic area with busy market”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

A really busy area of Venice with access to the market area, which opens six ish and closes around one. We visited twice and both times the bridge was very overcrowded with people vying for space to take a picture from it.

Worth a visit but pick your time
