In all glory back you can visit Rialto bridge. Best photos can be made from the market side. Little shops and restaurants make the area interesting. Lunch around that area makes a visit complete

Although it is a busy area - you really must make an effort to go here. A good approach is via a water bus on the Grand Canal...but, easily accessible via footpaths.

If you are at Venice you should at least pass that way once. Of course the walk to Rialto is as interesting as Rialto itself.

Climb up and down the bridge on both sides and enjoy the beauty of great canals, the noise of tourists, boats and sailboats, ancient palaces.

Another sight on the must do list - but you really can’t miss it if you tried. Riva Alto (high bank or shore) or Rialto is a stunning feat of architecture and beauty. Overrun by tourists and commercial, but this in no way lessens the magic.
