Believe it or not - my kids were disappointed that we had to take an elevator! They had a great time climbing other towers and counting the stairs. If this is not you - then enjoy the elevator! It is a beautiful view at the top.

I love being in places where you can get a panorama of the whole place. just like the Cupola di St. Pietro in Rome, the views are breathtaking.

the best part is there is an elevator that takes you up, so its totally worth the money you pay to get in.

once you are up there you an just stay absolutely quiet and enjoy your existence.
the only drawback is you need to wait in line to get back down.

so it is really hard to wait in line while having such a great view.

the place fills quick, GO EARLY!

We went up the tower just to see a view, and to our surprise were astonished at the views before us!! Omgosh, it was a photographer's dream! Lines were long during the day, so we went the next morning with no waiting, 8 Euros

Was accidentally at San Marco in the early evening and was lucky that there was no queue unlike in the day time. Decided to go up and had a fabulous view of Venice before the sunset. Do it!

We went early so the queue to get in was very small. It was not as expensive as I anticipated and worth it for the spectacular views you get at the top.
