“One of the best panini I have ever tried”

After browsing through summer Venice, this is like an Oasis. Cold beer, shpitz, best paninis in the world and there is AC inside too.

Thank Sergey S

“Inexpensive, friendly, excellent paninis ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014 via mobile

Corner Pub seems to attract English speakers in Venice. Almost all the other patrons in the place we're English speaking, the staff speaks English, making this a great spot to acclimate oneself after getting off a train or plane.
The panini are good, I mean next level good. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor, after having substandard paninis elsewhere in Italy. They server beer and wine, have a small sitting area in the back, and a few tables out front. People also tend to stand in the street if seating isn't available.
Great spot, recommended if you're looking for an easy lunch away from the madness of the main tourist areas.

Great drinks - big, delicious spritz for 2.5 euros, and the service is fantastic! Don't miss this place!

“Cool little place with fresh italian snacks/sandwiches”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Ideal place to stop by when exploring Dorsoduro. Even though it's not even half an inch away from the main tourist lane going or coming from the Guggenheim museum/collection... it's surprisingly un-touristy. A large variety of fresh and very tasty panini (you'd probably call them hot sandwiches in English) will go down with whatever drink you fancy - the bar is extremely well stocked. Then try to sit outside, watch the tourists float by and make silly comments... priceless!

“Fun place and great sandwiches!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

After St Mark's Square in the morning we walked around looking for a nice sandwich shop and got overwhelmed by the crowds and heat

Than we remembered this sandwich shop by the Peggy Guggenheim museum. Took the vaparetto back over here and so glad we did. Next time I come to Venice, just going to stay on this side.
