The best gallery I've ever been too! It's very small so make sure you don't miss it, at the time of my visit there were helpful signs to follow.

The little building is packed with works of Rothko, Kandinsky, Pollock, Ernst, Picasso, Miro, Dali and the like. At the moment there is also a temporary exhibition showing some additional paintings from those mentioned above, plus pieces from Bosch, Breughel the elder and Flemish masters among the others (entry is included in the gallery ticket price).

I paid 8 euro for a student ticket which was reasonable for that kind of collection.

Thank Peggy G

Well, the collection was varied and quite interesting to explore but I prefer classier things. I wouldn't list it as a "must" for every tourist. It's only for those who likes such collections.

I have been here a couple of times in the past 30 years and it remains one of the most tranquil and thought provoking sites or great art in Venice juxtaposing modern art with the ancient art all around. Do go!

The collection was wonderful and the museum was light and pleasant to navigate. The gardens around it were lovely as well. We found out too late that there was a cafe as we had already had a disappointing lunch elsewhere.

Location is perfect; gardens tranquil. Though a fairly small gallery it was not crowded. Paintings and sculptures are well displayed and it is possible to see them close up.
