Initially, the desk staff seemed a bit reserved, but then they were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was gorgeous; it felt very traditionally Venetian, and we felt like we stepped back in time to relax in a posh room with a comfy bed, plush sofas and chairs, and lots of room. It felt like an apartment where we had space for all of our belongings as well as space to stretch and relax in between our outings.
The view was gorgeous; we overlooked the canals and part of the street where we could hear the strolling musicians strumming their instruments. The staff was very accommodating if we needed anything, and the location was great. We could walk to San Marcos Square, the restaurants, shops, everywhere!
The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and fueled us for our nonstop touring. I'd highly recommend this very classy and comfortable hotel!
