“Great hotel for a short term stay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014

Amazing location (don't have to carry your luggage through stairs and tiny streets as it is located right near the Piazzale Roma, terminus of the Airport bus), in the middle of three wonderful venetian canals. Staff correct and polite, more than satisfying varied breakfast. Weaknesses are clearly 1. the size of the rooms (quite tiny!), 2. slight lack of property (especially in the common bathroom) and 3. the age of the room technical accessories (plugs, furniture). Perfect bet for a short term stay in Venezia!

Room Tip: Avoid room 705, it is like being inside a cupboard!

My family and I stayed here in July of 2013 and we had a fantastic experience.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly especially the woman who ran breakfast. She always asked how our previous day went and was very friendly to chat with.

Location was perfect for us. It was close to the train station and cruise port since we were staying there before a cruise. It is also close to a Vaporetto stop so we were able to have access to the sights of Venice as well.

The rooms worked perfect for us giving us a view of an alley way and part of a canal. The room size was smaller than the rooms we are used to in the States but to be honest if you are staying in Venice and complaining about the room size you aren't doing Venice justice. We were only in our rooms to change and sleep so the only thing that mattered was having an area to sleep.

A common complaint I saw aside from room size in the comments was that there were no shower curtains. This is true but it is also common throughout Europe so it's not just this hotel.

Overall my family and I were very pleased with the accommodations and will definitely return.

My family and I had a great stay at this hotel and thought the rates were very reasonable based on similar hotels. It was very close to the train station which was nice and also was a very short distance from access to our cruise ship that we departed on after 2 nights in Venice. The complementary breakfast was great (a lot better than anything in the states) and had delicious coffee (that my family still fantasizes about). Overall we had a great stay and would easily return next time we are in Venice!

PS. Only rated the fitness center as average because I didn't use one.

We chose this hotel because of the location as we have two small children and lots of luggage. I am so pleased we did - it is so convenient to arrive, check in (we were lucky that our room was ready even though we arrive at 11am, 3 hours before check in) and get out to explore the city quickly. The hotel room was nicely decorated, clean, and slept the 4 of us comfortably. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and the breakfast surprisingly good. I'd definitely stay here again if we go back to Venice.

We were wowed from arrival! Francesco warmly greeted us and provided our messages, local map, dinner recommendations, made sure we were set up on the internet. When we got to the room we discovered we had an extremely comfortable room on a canal with a view. The in-room amenities included internet, flat-screen TV, plenty of storage, table and chair. The superb location is close to bus and train station yet also near several restaurants. Frankly, one can choose to stroll along the canals from here to see entire city and avoid riding on the noisy vaporettos entirely. The breakfast here is a daily treat!

What a great view of the canals and cafes. This little hotel is just right. It is in a super part of the city. Close to the cruise ships, buses, and trains. But still in Venice itself. I am so glad we booked this location in advance because it was full. Perfect choice for our group of 18.

Very cozy and beautiful hotel. Great for couples. Clean and met all our needs. Highly recommend it to everyone. It is very central, close to the bus stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wouod definitely go back there again.

Room Tip: You have to take what you get while booking as it is always very busy. The room we had was large eno...
