We have just returned from a lovely break in Venice and have had an amazing time.

The hotel itself is old with some modern touches in the rooms, but this is what gives it the charm and character if you like a traditional experience.

We had some confusion with our room on the first night and the poor guy working reception at night was completely alone and struggling to manage the bar and guests arriving at the same time.

The next day they where happy to change our room and where really polite and understanding.

If I could only make one comment it would be to have 2 members of staff working in the evening to manage the reception and the bar because after travelling the first thing people want to do is relax with a drink and unwind and it’s a lot for one person to try and do on there own.

All in all we had a great time and will certainty visit again and stay here again it’s beautiful and in a perfect location.

Thankyou for everything guys.

Our group of 11 booked 6 rooms here and most of us enjoyed our stay at the beautiful typical Venetian hotel. The rooms are spacious and the A/C worked wonderfully after a long day of sightseeing.

CAUTION- Do not stay in the first floor room 35. It is musty, humid and moldy since it is on water level. The rest of the rooms, accessed via staircase- no elevator- were fine with nice bathrooms. Not sure it's a 4 star hotel, but it's a nice place to stay with great views and a reasonable price ( for Venice)

The concierge was very helpful in arranging water taxi to airport as well.

Room tip: Not on ground/water level!

The hotel is like a beautiful antique (but no worries, the bathrooms are fully updated and modern). Three steep floors with no elevators - we did not mind this one bit. A beautiful room for a nice breakfast of eggs, fruit, pastries, juice, and coffee (included in the price of the room). A small bar with balcony on the grand canal. Off of the beaten path, but a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas of the city. I’m 100% satisfied with our stay (family of four with 2 teenagers).

Arrived to hotel on a private taxi- that was amazing!
When we arrived the staff were helpful with carrying our bags up to our room with us and the rooms were ready, clean and tidy.
The size of our 3 rooms were pretty big and buffet breakfast was GREAT!

The only down thing about our stay was the confusion at check out about a payment that wasn’t settled. We had ensured we settled all payments the night before however one payment slipped through and didn’t get settled as hotel missed it, so that was a little frustrating but we got it all settled in the end.
Think the staff member could have handled it a little better, but overall experience was great.

So pleased we chose this hotel, perfectly situated for all the sights, we arrived by private water taxi and were greeted by very friendly reception staff and porter, we recieved a complimentary glass of fizz while our bags were taken to our rooms, what a way to start our trip! and the friendliness just kept coming, after long days sight seeing we were always greeted with a smile. The terrace on the grand canal was perfect for a night cap, the views were fab both day and night, very relaxing.
Thank you for a most enjoyable stay, we will definitely be recommending the hotel.
