The hotel was very nice. Fantastic location between St Mark's Square and the Rialto bridge. Breakfast was ok. Staff were helpful. Only complaint if any, is that it's noisy, you can hear people walking in the room above and if next to a canal all the boats going past/people talking.

Stayed here for 1 night earlier in November. Couldn't have made a better choice. Was a beautiful hotel, room was modern, spacious and clean. Location? I wouldn't even say 5min walk cos it's really 2mins to Rialto Bridge and 2mins to San Marco's. 10min water taxi took us straight from train station to hotel doorstep. A little steep (cost us €93 one way) but considering the amount of luggage we had, it was well worth the money. Gondola was also available right at the doorstep for €80! Great experience too!

We had room service that night as we were too tired from all the walking - literally. And gosh! It was so good we ordered the same stuff the next day for lunch.

Paid for a canal view but we might have been on the wrong side of the canal. View was nothing much to boast about.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Venice.

We booked last minute for a weekend away in Venice and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Very good central location, easy to get to all parts of Venice. The rooms are very nicely decorated and cosy with robes and slipper provided in the superior rooms.

Room Tip: Specifically ask if you want a non smoking room,

Highly recommend this hotel, especially in the off-season. Went with girlfriend in November, we were given a free room upgrade to canal-side, price was unbeatable and it never felt too crowded. Room was not big but certainly had more space than I expected in Venice. It was all well-done with nice beds, nice furniture, nice lighting, nice bathroom, and generally a clean, pleasant feel to it. Just wish there had been better windows for natural light, and a better shower.

Breakfast was included, it was a small but nice buffet in a comfortable skylit restaurant. There's also a beautiful lounge and bar. My girlfriend was ill for a day and the hotel was nice enough to make us special food beyond the time that the kitchen was open. That sort of thing is super nice and much appreciated!

Also, as everyone says, this is hardly a five minute walk from both San Marco square and Rialto bridge, and it's right on a canal, which (believe it or not) you can't say for every hotel in Venice. Overall, excellent hotel, and I was really pleased.

Great location as everybody has mentioned, and between the key attractions in a Venice. Not busy in November so saw everything we wanted in the 2 night stay. Great breakfast and the bar was ideal for pre & post dinner drinks. Gondola station just outside the hotel, it all made for a wonderful few days. I expect the roof terrace would be fantastic in the summer. Try it !

A lovely and romantic hotel in the heart of Venice. The water taxi took us straight to the hotel from the airport. Arriving at the hotel everything was ready and we quickly settled in. It was freezing outside and it was great to find our rooms warm and cozy. We only han breakfast and the food was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever travel to Venice, we would definitely stay there again.

Anyone thinking of going to Venice would do well to consider this hotel as is a few minutes from Saint Marks Square and from the Rialto Bridge. A very comfortable and well appointed hotel, the staff we found to be friendly and the breakfast excellent with a good choice of eggs, bacon, cakes and cereals. The wifi we found excellent and there is an hour free each day so not sure where the complaints came from in previous reviews. My only negative comment about this hotel would be that the drinks are very expensive but this is typical for venice as Venice is expensive to eat and drink, although you can find cheaper bars and eating places a little further away from the square. Make sure you get the water bus from the airport and not a water taxi as there is a huge difference in price, will need a map to find the hotel we used one from the airport and this was sufficient. Venice is a beautiful place and well worth the trip.

Room Tip: Can obtain a canal view but really not necessary as you see the canals all day long!
