You will never find better location in the center of Venice than Savoia and Jolanda. It is just in front of one of the main water bus stations (S.Zaccaria) so, you won't suffer from carrying your bags for a long distance across Venice bridges to reach your hotel. It is within walking distance (2 minutes) to reach St.Mark square and Doge palace. You are in front of the Gondolas and water taxi parks so all islands (Murano, Burano,....) you want to go are accessible. The outstanding Lagoon view from lagoon view rooms was distinctive and don't miss it. Breakfast quality was good and suites most of the guests. In addition, we got complementary 20% discount for the next door restaurant which makes difference because we were family and also they offered us a free private trip to Murano island . the cleaning service was fantastic as whenever we leave our room we come back to find it rearranged and cleaned. this may be twice per day. WiFi service was free in and out the room. Staff were also helpful and decent. If I have the chance to visit Venice again I will book definitely with this SPECTACTULAR hotel.

Room Tip: If you can afford to pay for the lagoon view rooms Don't miss it...

We arrived in Venice on Sunday 8th June 2014 for a 4 day visit and had to circumvent the annual Vogalonga Boat festival by catching the water bus on the Canale della Giudecca instead of the Grand Canal arriving at St Mark' s Square at around Mid Day. We walked across the large pedestrian walkway into the cool refreshing air of the Hotel Savoia & Jolanda and were met by the most pleasant and warming reception staff. From the outset everyone at the Hotel were extremely helpful and courteous and when we were shown to our room No 402 at the front of the Hotel we were overjoyed. The interior of the room was a delight with lovely furnishings, the bathroom copiously spacious and when we opened the curtains to our balcony we were truly amazed with the stunning views across the Bacino di San Marco to the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore and beyond. We could not have wished for better. We enjoyed delightful breakfasts each morning in the restaurant overlooking the waterfront and stepped out of the hotel in the very heart of everything from the usual tourist "must see" areas , gondolas and boats of every description but merely minutes away from lovely quiet backstreet canals, shops, restaurants and bars. A superb location and well worth the extra costs for the front Canal facing room. Many, many thanks to Vitalia at the Hotel who answered very efficiently every email from my wife with all our queries, was extremely helpful and sourced our lovely room for us. Will we go back to the Hotel Savoia & Jolanda on our next visit to Venice ? - most certainly.

Room Tip: Pay the extra cost of a room fronting the Canal - it is Venice and well worth it

Good quality rooms with good service. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and both times we were pleased with our stay. Two minutes walk to St marks Square and room looked over the Grand Canal.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking the Grand Canal.

best location, amazing breakfast, located at the heart of venice. comfortable rooms & service was excellent. will definitely come back! the junior suite was disappointingly small, when we booked the room with the canal view it was more spacious!

Room Tip: i didn't like the junior suite, the standard room was better in my opinion. (tried both)

Spent 3 nights there on our first stop of our Italy vacation.
The room was small but decorated beautifully. The view from our room overlooked the water with all the activity of daily life, water taxis, cruise ships with locals and tourists coming and going. It was perfect and gave a real feel of what life is in Venice.
Our stay included breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious fresh fruit and pastries served daily. The staff was accommodating and friendly
I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here on our next adventure to Venice!
