We stayed here for 4 nights in one of the classic rooms.

The room was big as was the bathroom. We were quite disappointed to find that we had to separate single beds pushed together, even though we had noted it was our honeymoon. But the Beds were comfortable. The room was also extremely old fashioned, I suppose to be more traditional.

Breakfast was a good spread with a full buffet. Staff are also very friendly and willing to help.

The hotel is located only 1 min walking from the train station and about a 30 min walk from St Marks square.

A good stay on Venice island.

This hotel is right on the Grand Canal so handy to water taxi's so you are able to get anywhere in Venice easily. It is also next to the train station and the people mover which takes you straight to the port if going on a cruise couldn't be in a better position. The rooms are very 'Italian' maybe a little dated but clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable. The breakfast was very nice and there is free wi fi in the lobby and computers and printers to use if necessary. Lots of places to eat nearby and things to look at. All in all a great place to stay in Venice.

This hotel was so much better than expected. Its 100m from the train station, a 5 minute walk to the area where cruise ship transportation leaves from and close to most of the tourist areas. The service was of a very high standard with reception extremely helpful in identifying how to get around, eating places etc. The actual area around the hotel has a great vibe and san marco square and the other well known attractions are walkable or easily accessed by water taxi or water bus which are 100m away from the hotel.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the train station, as we were only in Venice for one night. I am very glad that we stayed here, because it is literally a one minute walk from the train station. Very central to town, you can take a water taxi right outside the hotel to San Marco Square. The room was dated, and the shower had extremely weak water pressure. The best part about our stay at this hotel was our interaction with the gentleman who worked at the front desk, Francesco. He was extremely welcoming from the moment we walked in the door until the second we left. He allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel while our room was being prepared, and gave us a map and a quick tour of where to go and what to see around town.

To everyone complaining about the leisurely service and small entities... We're in Europe. I repeat, we are in Europe, not America. It is very common for elevators to be small and service to be relaxed. Besides that, this hotel is great. I'm not sure which is better, the location or the decor. It is located right off of the grand canal with amazing views from our room. The place is ornate with murano glass everywhere. It's located right next to a water bus station and the main train station so you can pretty much get anywhere. The staff has been very helpful holding our luggage, getting us checked into our room before the actual check in time and even helping us make dinner reservations. I'm actually writing this as I sip a glass of wine downstairs at their computer they have available for guests (There is also a printer which is perfect if you're catching a flight and need to print out a boarding pass). I haven't tried the breakfast yet but I peaked in this morning when checking in and it looked and smelled amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Being part of a tour group across Italy, I did not know what to expect staying at this hotel in Venice. It was so much better than expected! Easy walking and convenient to all of the touristy locations. We were out exploring every day. I loved the Murano glass throughout the hotel and the marble just made it feel elegant. It was the best hotel that we stayed at during our tour. I would certainly stay at this location again!

This hotel is within 100 meters walking distance to the Venice Hotel. It is right next to the Grand Canal and there is bridge right outside the hotel to cross the canal. We enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar one evening and were provided with free Canapes. Our room was well appointed and a good size.
