How do you rate a really old hotel, that doesn't have a view but is in a great location? The first room we were brought to didn't have outlets by the bed. This was a problem since my husband has a cpap. Theyl did find us a new room with plenty of outlets but it was surprising to even see a room layout like this, This was our fourth hotel stay and this wasn't an issue in any of the others. I am just mentioning this so others know if they too have a cpap.

Breakfast wasn't included and I guess we got spoiled with the others so that was disappointing. Especially because breakfast was hard to find other than a croissant.

Once we stopped getting lost we realized what a great location this hotel is in. The room walls were covered in fabric which was cool. Just a side note what's with all the tiny chairs in Europe. I am only 5'5" and the hotel chairs were short for me :)

This was another hotel that had several stairs to even get into, then a few more to get to our room from the elevator. If you have trouble with stairs don't stay here.

Having said all that, this is a clean hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again.

Arrived first time in Italy, disembarked water taxi St Marks square
and headed to city centre. Easily located the hotel and was delighted to experience such a wonderful and helpful greeting. Check in was easy and nice to find a clean, well presented room after a long hike from Sydney. Staff were friendly regardless of the time of day or night. Breakfast inclusion was lovely and again service lovely. Terrific location, friendly service, good value. Recommend it!

This is a classy hotel, with an entrance just off St Mark's square. It's easy to find once you get your bearings. The hotel reception staff are friendly and attentive, and at breakfast the staff are keen to help.
There is a nice lounge where you can enjoy a drink too.
The restaurant does overlook St Mark's, and it's nice to have a table by the window. Plenty of choice too which is good.
Our room here was on the small side, but the decor was in keeping with the style of the hotel. E.g Murano glass chandelier, and typical Venetian decor.
Bathroom, again was small, but was clean and well appointed, and with shower over bath, loo, sink and bidet.
The bed is comfortable, but you may get woken up by the bells, at 6 in the morning. But you get used to them surprisingly.
The fact that the hotel is on St Mark's is a bonus. When you come to retrace your steps after yomping round all day, you won't get lost. Just head for the square!!
My only slight disappointment is the size of the room, next time, I'll upgrade.

Wonderful staff, excellent accommodations and perfect location. We were very impressed and will definitely return next visit! We were booked in another hotel but they had lost our reservation. The Concordia went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome at the last minute.

Having going to this hotel for the first time I can not fault the location. Just off St Marks square is simply the best. The room is adequate size bed linen very clean and the bathroom excellent. We stayed b&b and the breakfasts were good. We did have a lunch which also was good and quite reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We we go to Venice again I would consider a revisit.
